Thursday 25 December 2014
Hello lovelies!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.. And to make this Christmas much more delightful, I have this special Giveaway to announce for all my amazing readers.

Its been 2 months since then, and my hair have infact become more smooth and highlight my face in a beautiful way.
And that's why I have collaborated with Geetanjali Salon, Delhi to give one lucky winner a chance to win a Hair Makeover as a part of their Color Me Gorgeous event and say Hello to color.

Hey lovely readers!
Hope you all are doing great and enjoying the chilly weather. I recently reviewed my experience at the Warren Tricomi salon in Delhi here, and recently also went through my first sitting for a Laser Hair reduction at one of the premium Beauty Clinics which I will reveal shortly.
Today's outfit dates back to a few weeks during the launch of the Livon Silk Serum in Delhi and the post title refers to my current favorite lippy - Sultry - Revlon Colorburst Matte lip balm. The event had a theme of Pink and Gold, and because I wasn't in a mood to wear a girly pink, I decided to wear a wine colored dress I recently purchased from French Connection.
To complete the look I paired my stappy sandals from Charles & Keith - which also happen to be my first C&K pair - with a sling bag from Milanoo.com . A golden FOSSIL watch and my Sultry lippy were just perfect to get ready for the evening.
Here are few pictures of what I wore to the event -

OOTD - What I Wore to The Hermès Masquerade Silk Ball
Wednesday 10 December 2014
Hey everyone!
I had shared it on Instagram and Facebook that I will be attending Hermès Silk Ball which was organized at Leela Palace, Delhi a couple of weeks back. I had also shared a picture of the outfit I was wearing and many of you were really eager to know what I wore.
And finally your wait is over, as I am sharing more details on what I wore for this exclusive event organized by Hermès India which focused on the gorgeous silk collection of the brand, and had a theme of a masquerade ball with masks, fantastical makeup and flashes of folly!
Keeping in tune with the theme of the event, I got this beautiful ball gown from Trendy Divva - a chic women's fashion brand offering the most luxurious and contemporary fashion garments so that you can present yourself through style.
This halter strap pink gown has intricate lace embroidery till the waist and a ruched detailing at the waistline. I paired the gown with lace heels from NEXT, a pair of emerald earrings from XOXO accessories and a chic net fascinator from Claire's to keep up with the ball's theme of headdresses.
I also carried a hand-painted octagon box clutch by Anusha Lalwani which features an acrylic canvas painting and also has a metallic chain which makes it easier to carry when you want to keep your hands free.
Here are the pictures clicked at the event -

Hey everyone!
Here's the first outfit post of December featuring a beautiful skirt and off-shoulder top from Faballey.com . And if you are wondering what's up with the post title, well it's the famous song by Meghan Trainor that I am tuned to a lot these days. Also, this outfit is a part of the Curvy Style Guide which makes the song that promotes positive body image, a perfect title to the OOTD.
If you haven't heard about this cool online fashion brand yet, then you need to know that FabAlley is the ultimate Indian fashion destination for fashion-forward, indie-chic girls.
I have been a fan of maxi skirts a lot these days, especially the ones with a sheer pattern that have a flirty yet chic appeal, so when I checked out the amazing collection of skirts at Faballey, I was tempted to have it in my closet. This off-white lace maxi skirt is crafted in crochet and has a peekaboo effect with its short inner skirt. I paired the skirt with a Faballey bright blue top featuring polka dots and an off-shoulder neck, to add a dash of color and style to the look.
To complete the look, I carried my Baggit mini cross-body bag which was also featured in the Bollywood movie Bang-Bang. This cute little bag comes in a suede like fabric and has a stylish chain with 2 different pockets spacious enough to store your casual day-out essentials.

Hola chicas!
Hope you all are enjoying the weekend .. I am just relaxing at home this weekend, eating home-cooked Aloo paranthas (and I am not guilty about that :D ), sipping hot tea and working on this post.
If you paid attention to the title of this post, you must have had a thought that WIFW was held a long time back - so why I am posting my outfit so late? Well, as I mentioned in the last post, I have been a lot lazy this month. But I will be posting all the outfits which are lying in my drafts in the coming days.
And I have named this post - Ombre delights - because it not only covers my Ombre hair color but also features my new Ombre patterned maxi dress from MAX Fashion.
I bought this lovely blue and black colored dress from MAX a few weeks back which features an elasticized waist and a keyhole neckline. I wore it to the last day of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week and accessorized it minimally to let the ombre be the highlight of my look.
I paired it with an aztec multi-layer neckpiece from ALDO, glitter flats from ALDO and my rose gold watch from FOSSIL.

Hey lovely readers!
Are you all enjoying this pleasant weather? Well I certainly am not. It's already mid of November and there is no sign of the chilling winter which I love the most. I have already started my Winter shopping and stocked up on many new woolen clothing and outerwear, but my beloved Winter is still nowhere to be seen :(
Strangely, till few years back, North India used to get really chilling by November but I still find myself switching on the fan to a low speed as the days are relatively warm. Anyway, hopefully today's outfit post would be one of the last of Autumn'14 outfits and I would be delightfully shooting my Winter outfits soon.
The outfit dates back to a few weeks when my hair were still virgin (in case you are not aware, I have got my hair colored), and the weather was very pleasant - allowing me to dress up in this see-through lace top from Oasap.com in a lovely pink color.
I paired the top with my favorite pair of polka dot pants from ZARA, studded flats from ALDO and a grey satchel bag from Forever 21. I kept the accessories bare minimum by just wearing a sleek Forever 21 neckpiece and a tan watch from ALDO.

Hey lovely readers!
My favorite month November is here and thankfully this time my birthday fell on a weekend (1st Nov) and I had a great time attending Sunburn Festival in Noida with my friends.
I am back with the first Outfit Post of November which dates back to last month when I attended Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in Delhi. On Day 4 of the fashion week, I decided to wear a beautiful skirt which has been hidden in my closet since an year and I never really got the confidence to wear it.
This beige Tutu skirt is a very feminine piece with layers of net ending just over the knees. I had fallen in love with this skirt when I saw it online and purchased it right away, but I never really found it suitable for any occasion.
But this time as I decided to attend the Fashion Week, I made my mind to wear this skirt atleast on one day. Because of its subtle color, it would have worked well with any contrasting bright color so I picked this floral halter-neck top from NEXT. To complete the outfit, I accessorized it with a quilted handbag from Romwe.com, Forever21 neckpiece and a Daniel Wellington striped watch.
As I had to be running around at the venue in between shows, I wore my BATA flats which are really comfortable.

The month of festivities and celebrations has come to an end, making way for my Birthday month - November, and I haven't still decided how will I be celebrating my 25th birthday which falls on the 1st.
Talking about life brings me to the #ScullersThisIsLife campaign being run by the premium Smart Casual wear brand - SCULLERS. Inspired by the sport of Sculling, Scullers is for those who celebrate life. Scullers is sophisticated, timeless and elegant to suit the urban lifestyle. It’s for those who would like to believe there is life after work and away from home.
And to celebrate the same spirit and encourage people to enjoy their lives outside their work space or the more common CUBICLE culture, the brand has come up with This Is Life campaign. The idea is to shed over your inhibitions and make life more fun by indulging in things you like that can be anything from travel to writing, or anything you have ever wanted to do apart from your regular job.
I, being a full-time employee in social media field, can completely relate to this campaign. As I try as much as possible to step outta my work and enjoy the life - mostly through blogging and hanging out with my friends checking out new cafes in town, exploring new places, taking a vacation and much more.
Here are a few pictures from my life wherein I have tried my best to live my life to the fullest, stepping out of my work place -

Butt Out The World With Jealous 21 | Break Stereotypes and Stay Confident
Monday 27 October 2014
Hey everyone!
Hope you all enjoyed the festive week and had a great time! Even I am back from my hometown after having a fun time with my family and cousins. I forgot to take my camera along, so there are no pictures of what I chose to wear for Diwali and Bhai Dooj.
In the past few days, while catching up with my relatives, I felt how a young Indian woman like me who once hits her early 20s, completes her education and finds a suitable job - is told that she should take the next Big Step - Get Married! While, I would love to get married someday with a compatible partner, I don't really like the pressure women in India have to go through to get married at the “right age.”
And when I came across the BUTT OUT campaign by Jealous 21 on their Facebook page and their TV advertorial, I realized that the society won't stop dictating things to us, it’s us who have to take a stand and make sure these nosy relatives Butt Out of our lives.
Jealous 21, through their interesting campaign, does not want to show that the Jealous 21 girl is a Rebel. She is just super confident and sure about herself and doesn’t want society to dictate her terms.
You might agree that living in the Indian society, we have all come across such stereotypes and social stigmas once in a while which tend to stop us from chasing our dreams.

Meet The Van Heusen's Most Fashionable Professionals
Wednesday 22 October 2014
Hey everyone!
I remember when I first started working two years back, I was really worried about what will I wear at work and if I would be able to stand out in the workplace. After all, who wants to look boring at the workplace?
I took a lot of time going through office wear looks at the internet and re-worked my wardrobe to include some workplace basics and accessories. And it felt really good when my colleagues used to compliment me for my dressing sense and also reached out to me and my blog for styling tips and outfit ideas.
You must all agree that it makes you feel really confident when your colleagues or friends look up to you for your unique sense of style. It feels all the more good when you can get a platform where your style is recognized and rewarded.
And one renowned brand which took the initiative to bring out the Fashionable and Stylish side of working people is Van Heusen, India’s No. 1 premium lifestyle brand for men, women and youth, which in partnership with the social networking site -LinkedIn launched the Season II of its successful contest, Most Fashionable Professional.
With the intent to identify 10 most fashionable professionals, the contest targeted at LinkedIn’s member-base of 26 million professionals.
And the contest had a very unique idea, instead of nominating yourself, the users had to nominate their colleagues or friends to recognize their fashion sense.
The campaign has been a huge success and 10 winners were finally chosen (5 men and 5 women) who received Van Heusen gift vouchers worth Rs 10,000 each while all the participants received a gift voucher of Rs 500 each.
Here is the list of Most Fashionable Professionals ie. the winners of the contest this year -
And here are the female winners showing their classy Formal style and their views on Office Dressing -

Hey lovely readers!
I am really excited as I am write this post as I am sharing with you all my new look c/o Geetanjali Salon, Select City Walk, Delhi.
So, a few weeks back I was invited over to experience the services at the newly opened Geetanjali Salon by Sumit Israni - a concept hair studio by famed hair expert and celebrity hair stylist, Sumit Israni.
The salon offers an urban tranquil environment where customers can choose from an array of creative haircuts, hairstyles , color and texturing services, luxury hair rituals, Keratin treatments and much more.
I had initially planned to get a Kerastase hair spa from the salon but when I saw my fellow blogger buddies Anshita and Lisha getting a beautiful hair color from the salon, even I was tempted to get my hair highlighted. Now, when it comes to hair, I am really finicky as I have seen my hair going from WOW to blah and then after undergoing a couple of hair treatments including a Homeopathic treatment, I saw my hair getting back to normal and in a healthy state.
So, I wanted to ensure that my virgin hair were treated in the best possible way and I collected all the required information about hair coloring process before I finally stepped in to the salon to get my hair colored.
I was introduced to the lovely hair stylist Phorme at the salon (I am really bad with names and I think I am misspelling it) with whom I discussed about what kind of hair color I want and she gave me a quick overview of the procedure involved and the kind of results I could get. After taking a long time discussing the Pros and Cons of hair color, I decided to go for an Ombre hair color in True Ash color with their L'oreal range.
The service started with shampooing my hair, applying the color and shampooing the hair again. The entire process took around one hour and then I got my hair blow dried.

In my last month's post, I had introduced the ZOTIQQ jewellery box in which I had received some really pretty jewellery. But this month's box is all the more special as it is a festive themed box keeping in focus the celebrations mood in the country.
So, let's have a look at what I received in this month's Fashionista box -

While we all swear by our favorite high street brands and flea market finds, I am sure just like me you must have had eyes on that luxury bag or a luxury masterpiece to decorate your home.
Getting information about what's new in the luxury space, advice on premium brands, what to shop etc. is really difficult in the virtual space as most of the e-commerce portals and fashion websites only cater to the high street label market.
But finally we have an innovative platform that provides curated information on global luxury and fine living which is The Luxe Café - a J.J Valaya initiative.

Find The Best College For You with CollegeDunia | Review
Wednesday 15 October 2014
Hey lovely readers!
Hope you all are doing well and gearing up for the festive holidays. I will be visiting my hometown Ludhiana next week and therefore I have planned to clear the backlog of posts saved in my drafts. So, expect few more posts coming up before Diwali.
In today's post I will be doing a review of a website which serves as a directory to the best colleges and educational institutes in India - CollegeDunia.com .
Now, if you all are wondering why I am writing about an education directory on my blog, the reason is just that I was lately looking for good management institutes for my younger brother which offer courses in Sports and I realized how there are only a few websites which provide relevant information about the best institutes in the country.
So, when I came across CollegeDunia and I went through the website, I was really glad to have found atleast one useful website which is here to help the students to find their dream college.
About CollegeDunia.com -
"Collegedunia.com is an extensive search engine for the students, parents, and education industry players who are seeking information on higher education sector in India and abroad. One can rely on Collegedunia.com for getting most brief and relevant data on colleges and universities. With the most interactive user interface and most validated content, we aspire to be the top education portals in coming days."
Here are few features of the website which in my views makes it an important resource for students and parents alike -

Hey lovely readers!
Here's another outfit post featuring the midi-dress trend which has caught my fancy lately. I love autumn as it lets me wear breezy clothes and this long dress is perfect to wear for an evening out with friends in this slightly cold weather.
This striped dress from Oasap.com also features two thin straps which cross at the back giving a back-to-school vibe. I paired this casual dress with a color-blocked Accessorize bag and white ZARA sandals.
I kept the accessories minimal by just adding a floral ring and bracelet from ZOTIQQ and a Daniel Wellington watch.
Have a look at how I wore the dress :

Hola chicas!
No wardrobe is complete unless you have a suitable bag to go for every occasion. And when it comes to bags and accessories, they truly say - the More, the Merrier. But this doesn't mean that you need to own each and every bag which comes in trend every season.
Here I have covered 5 essential bags which are a must-have in every fashionista's wardrobe -
1. Tote Bag - An everyday essential, a tote bag is characterized by its spacious interors, oversized shape and multiple pockets to store your basic essentials. You can pick a tote in neutral colors or go for a trendy striped bag like this one which is perfect to carry to college, shopping or brunch with friends.
You can take your pick from Tidebuy cheap bags which are reasonably priced and available in various patterns.
Hey lovely readers!
Wishing you all a very Happy Dussehra and hope you all are enjoying the long weekend.
I am here with the first Outfit Post of this month covering a trend which is currently the rage all over - Crop Top and Skirt sets.
My wardrobe mostly consists of dresses and skirts, and I was looking for a refreshing change so when I saw many celebs and models rocking crop tops and matching skirts, I knew I have to try this trend too.
This style is a perfect pick over a frock or cocktail dress as it is available in various silhouettes and patterns that look good on every body type. And it comes as a boon for us curvy ladies as it makes for a sophisticated manner to wear a crop top with a high-waisted skirt without looking over-the-top or unflattering.
While I was looking for a perfect set for myself, I came across this new brand in town - RIDRESS - which offers stylish apparel that are inspired from the international runway and red carpet styles.
"RIDRESS epitomizes the young fashionista with an eye for both the edgy and the classic. We celebrate young women and this can be felt in our designs, which goes well with every girl.
The collections cover a gamut of styles and ranges to suit the ever-changing mood and lifestyle of this girl, who is always on the move and always ready to dazzle. "
Have a look at how I styled my dazzling tropical print crop top and skirt set from RIDRESS while I went to attend a Bloggers' Meet organized by AVON recently -

Hey lovely readers!
Had a happy weekend? I had a lot of fun this weekend as I caught up with the lovely bloggers Lisha (from HeartBowsMakeup) and Anshita (from Vanity No Apologies) as we had fun having spas at The Ashok on Friday and gossiping and eating at Cafe Coffee Bean at Select City walk, Delhi on Saturday.
Later, I went to Geetanjali Salon for a hair spa but ended up having a hair Makeover which I would be revealing shortly in a new post.
Coming back to today's post, I will be sharing with you my experience of a luxurious hair spa treatment with Moroccanoil hair products at the Taj Salon, Delhi.
Moroccanoil has become a haircare industry sensation embraced by celebrities, runway stylists and women the world over. Their formulas not only leave hair naturally smooth and shiny but also improve its actual condition to make it stronger with each use.
Personally, this was my third Moroccanoil hair spa treatment and each time I have felt my hair texture has improved from before and felt more smooth and manageable.
And, experiencing my favorite hair spa treatment at Taj Salon was not only luxurious but also much more personalized as compared to other salons I have visited.

Hey everyone!
Today I am going to write a review for the latest styling tool in the market - Air Straightener - a part of the PHILIPS' Essential Care range. This styler priced at Rs 1695 claims to gently dry and straighten your hair while protecting them.
I have naturally wavy hair which act as per their mood. I know it sounds funny but my hair sometimes look and feel really smooth after wash and sometimes get very frizzy. So, while I have thought about getting them rebonded or smoothened, the after-effects of using chemicals scare me a lot.
I have tried many styling products before but it involves a lot of time to straighten the hair without causing them any damage. Therefore, when I was contacted to review this styling product, I was more than eager to try and see if it works well.
What the brand claims -
Dry & style at once - the new Philips Essential Care air straightener allows you to achieve naturally straight hair, while providing care to your hair with the ThermoProtect temperature.

Here's my experience with the Air Straightener -
- The styler has an easy-to-use shape which has a good grip and hold.
- The bristles are wide enough to go through the hair smoothly while combing them.
- I used the styler for around 10 minutes to straighten my towel-dried hair and the results were really good.

Hey lovely readers!
If you have read my earlier posts or follow me on Instagram, you must be aware of how big a fan I am of online shopping and how often I buy online and share the posts on my social media handles.
Many a times I get queries not only from my readers but also friends, asking for best online shopping websites in India, if online shopping is safe, payment methods etc.

- Most of us have full-time or part-time jobs which leave us hardly any time to visit different markets and explore our favorite brands/stores. And here come E-commerce portals which not only allow us to check out the latest collections of various brands, but also give us the comfort of getting them delivered at our doorsteps.
Hey lovely readers!
Few weeks back I had attended the launch of The Body Shop's new BB cream at their Connaught Place outlet in Delhi. And, finally after having used this cream daily for last 2 weeks, I am here with my review of the BB cream.
The Body Shop's new BB cream is a part of their famous Tea Tree range which is most suitable for oily or blemished skin. I have a combination skin which tends to have acne in the hotter months of the year therefore I was really excited to know that this BB is suitable for blemished skin as I am a fan of BB creams.
I have already used 3 products of the Tea Tree range - Toner, face wash and Tea Tree oil - which are a part of my daily skincare regime as well.
What the brand says about the BB cream -
"Perfect your complexion and fight the look of blemishes with our Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream. This dual action cream gives you flawless coverage whilst tackling the appearance of blemishes. Formulated with purifying Community Fair Trade organic tea tree oil from Kenya. - Blemishes and imperfections are instantly covered - Lightweight formula gives shine-free complexion - 3 shades blend seamlessly into all skin tones for natural-looking coverage/"

Hey lovely readers!
Hope you all are doing great and enjoy this week. Last Sunday I was invited over to attend the OLX Collectors Ride event held at Blue Frog, Delhi where the brand unveiled 'The Freedom Bike’, a 12-feet-long motorcycle art installation made entirely of vintage items.
This extraordinary piece of art, made entirely of collectible and vintage items, was unveiled by OLX in Delhi on Sunday, September 14th in the presence of leading motorcycle communities, artists, media, actors such as Rajiv Khandelwal and Rohit Roy, and popular music band Indian Ocean, which also performed at the event.
As the event was organized outdoors (after-party was in the club) in the evening, I decided to wear my new Vero Moda jumpsuit in solid blue color which has a flattering silhouette.
This outfit is also the part of my Curvy Style Guide on how to wear a jumpsuit as many a times we get confused about which jumpsuit/romper to pick for our body shape. If you love the comfy feel of jumpsuits like me, you should go for a solid colored jumpsuit in sophisticated fabric or one with a light print so that it hides your problem areas. Also, you should ideally go for a jumpsuit which has a defined waist or a belt strategically placed for an hour glass effect.
I teamed up my jumpsuit with a stylish bird print and striped satchel bag in a matching color palette from The Purple Sack - an online brand which deals in trendy accessories like bags, belts, scarves and more. My Daniel Wellington watch with the Classic Oxford wristband looked like it was made to compliment this bag and the jumpsuit.

Hey everyone!
I am back with a review post for my lovely readers who love hoarding jewellery and accessories.
Lately I have been investing in a lot of statement jewellery pieces because I have realized that while apparel trends change every now and then, jewellery is something that would somehow still remain in fashion and depends on personal style.
Also, when you don't like repeating your outfits, you can easily give yourself a unique look by teaming the same outfit with different jewellery pieces.
So, when I came across this new jewellery label in town - ZOTIQQ - which is run by a dear friend, I was tempted to try what they have in store.
While they have a lot of statement jewellery pieces listed on their website, what excited me the most was their monthly Subscription Box service in which you get 3-5 customized pieces delivered to your home in a collectible box each month.
The service is available in 3 variants -

Hope you all are enjoying the change in the weather and the lovely feel of Fall finally setting in. Even I think it's time to re-arrange my wardrobe and make space for my autumn-winter clothing.
Last week I got my hands on my first Daniel Wellington watch - a Classic Bristol Lady - and I thought it was perfect to style for my first autumn outfit post with its laidback design.
As the weather has slowly turned cool, I decided to wear my new printed pencil skirt from Precious Melove with a bright pink top from US Polo. I accessorized the look with a blue statement neckpiece from Accessorize, a classy clutch bag from Accessorize and a pair of beige block heels from Forever 21.
And to give an elegant vibe to the look, I paired my DW which has a minimalistic dial and a perfectly dark brown band that added a touch of luxury to the otherwise fun and chic outfit.
Have a look at the pictures to see how I styled my beautiful timepiece :

I am back with another Outfit Post as part of few outfits I have styled as per few requests I received from my curvy readers.
And the new outfit in the series covers the latest trend - Leggings - which have become a rage all over.
When I first saw these trendy pair of leggings at a ZARA outlet a few months I instantly liked them but didn't try them thinking I was too curvy for them.
My best friend who is skinny bought the pair and rocked it as well. And soon girls all around were flaunting this pair with cute crop tops, tucked-in shirts and halter necks. Many fakes also came up but well the ZARA leggings have a style and fit which is unique and classy.
And the last time I entered the store, I just couldn't resist buying the pair and decided I had to have this pair in my wardrobe. Once I bought the pair, my major concern was how to style this pair of leggings - being heavier at the torso, I can't wear it with a crop top like my skinny friends or wear it with a tucked-in top.
So, the pair kept lying in my wardrobe for a month or so, and then I bought this perfect asymmetrical neon top from Madame which I believed was a perfect match to the leggings.
Not only the top helps me cover my heavier side but also has a catchy design which instantly gives me a toned-down look. Do you agree?
I styled the outfit with my favorite aztec heels from Steve Madden and a handy Milanoo sling bag which can be carried in two different ways.

Rising Stars of Comedy - Comedy Show to Watch Out For India
Monday 1 September 2014
Hola chicas!
After getting an amazing response for my last post about Rising Stars of Comedy, I thought of writing about another absolutely hilarious episode I watched of the show online.
This particular episode of the NDTV Prime's comedy show features Sanjay Rajoura, an angry Jaat who calls himself a social satirist.
In this video, Sanjay takes a pick on the neo liberal capitalist modern Indian in a sarcastic and witty manner at a comedy event organized by New Delhi Comedy Club.
I could totally relate to this video for the way he describes the way various cultural functions are celebrated at corporate offices, girls gang at these offices (reminds me of my days in my previous company) and the funny take on the wedding scene in Indian families (see right from 04:40).
It is really surprising to see that comedian Sanjay has such a great stage presence and is able to enthrall the audience single-handedly.

Hey everyone!
Hope you all are doing well. This season we hardly saw any rains in this part of India (Delhi-NCR) which makes me wonder if there would be no monsoon at all in the coming years.
Anyway, I hope it rains a bit before the onset of Autumn which is not far away. And talking about Fall made me realize that it's time that I started re-arranging my wardrobe for the new season.
While going through my wardrobe I noticed that there are few items which I should invest in and shop for Autumn-Winter. And that's why I went to few of my favorite online shopping websites to see what they had in store for AW'2014.
In this post I have covered my wishlist for the Fall, have a look -
If you have followed my outfit posts, you must be knowing that I am a big fan of printed pants and they definitely rule my wardrobe. But one of my favorite printed pants which have a monochrome style have faded away and therefore I need a new pair. The above pair of printed pair is a perfect pick to style for a semi-formal occasion or to a casual day out with friends.

Hi lovely readers!
It's Friday again and also the beginning of a fun weekend. I don't have any plans for this weekend yet and most probably would be reviewing few products for the blog.
Last week Mumbai played host to the most popular Fashion event of the country - Lakme Fashion Week winter festive season. And what runs parallel to any fashion show is lingerie which helps give a smooth and neat look to any outfit.
The 15th year and the 23rd season of LFW saw amanté, the official lingerie partner, add a spark of sensuality to the whole event. From the fitting sessions to the finale evening, amanté gave a feel of opulence to models, designers, celebrities and guests alike.
This year amanté added a spark and more colors to the prestigious event with their unique and interesting The Sensuous Pink Couch activity.

Hey lovely readers!
Hope you all are having a great week. Last weekend, I attended the launch of HRC Mingle, a ladies night at Hard Rock Cafe, Saket, Delhi; followed by watching a movie - The Grand Budapest Hotel on Saturday and shopping a bit.
And I am back today with this review for a new matchmaking/dating app in town. Well, I know you must be wondering why I am writing a review for a matchmaking app. The reason very simply is - because just like every other Indian girl in her mid 20s, even I am being asked my parents and relatives to settle down. And being a single lady in a metro city, it gets really difficult to find the perfect one with the little time you have in your busy lifestyle. While my parents are doing their bit by searching from the zillion of profiles shown at other traditional matrimonial websites, they simply do not work for me.
So when I came across this website which recently was also in news because of their amazing Breaking Stereotypes campaign, I decided to try it by myself.
And, now as they have come up with a mobile app, with the Android version already out and the iOS version being launched in October'14, finding love would now be at your fingertips.

Hey lovely readers!
Here's a new outfit post to delight all my curvy readers who have sent me queries requesting more styling options for curvy body type.
I have always been a fan of peplum style and while I own many tops and few dresses with a peplum style, I lacked a peplum skirt until I saw this beautiful skirt at a Forever 21 store in Delhi. In a classic style, this jacquard skirt features polka dots all over and a flattering peplum style.
Last month I had visited Bangalore to attend a trade show organized by Madura Garments for its brands - Van Heusen, Louis Philippe and Allen Solly. The trade show was a unique showcase of their SS15 collection for the prospective buyers from all over India and I was also invited over to go through the collection and share our feedback. Later in the day, all the bloggers and media persons met over a cozy dinner at the poolside of Marriot hotel. I had a great time at the event, catching up with some amazing bloggers from all over India and making new connections.
As it was a semi-formal dinner with the brand representatives of Madura Garments, I believed the Forever 21 skirt was a perfect choice. I paired the skirt with a sleeveless striped crop top from Forever 21 which has a perfect length and fit. I completed the look with a black statement neckpiece from Forever 21, Tresmode wedges and a Fossil watch.
To add some color to the monochrome outfit, I paired it with a bright tangerine clutch purse from Cupcakes and Closet.
Have a look at the pictures -

Celebrate Being You with Bed Head - This Is Me Campaign - Selfie To Bacelona
Saturday 23 August 2014
Hey lovely readers!
I am back with a new post talking about a very interesting campaign and a topic which we all relate to very closely.
Body Image and Being Yourself is what everyone seems to be talking about everywhere. Whether you see any magazine, social media page or community, people have been trying to spread a positive body image among the masses and I completely support the motion.
Because individuality and self-confidence is what defines each one of us and makes us unique. And no matter what others have an opinion about us, if we start loving ourselves and able to say to the world 'This Is Who I Am', our body shape, color and other such physical parameters can never be a constraint in being true to ourselves and doing what we like the most.
And one brand which has not only supported this motion strongly but also made it a basis of their latest campaign is Bed Head's "This Is Me".
As you all must be aware of, Bed Head is a hair care and styling products brand distributed by TIGI, and is known for its rule breaking attitude and cheekiness along with their fun and creative hair products already have a strong online social presence globally and have begun their efforts in engaging its Indian audience by reaching out to them.
And their latest campaign The Bedhead – ‘This is Me’ stays true to the brand values and focuses on individuality by encouraging people to acknowledge their true self.
