The launch event was hosted by India's leading fashion e-tailed Jabong as a fun filled afternoon with fellow bloggers and sports enthusiasts. Yuvraj Singh unveiled the YWC collection at the event along with Gunjan Soni, Head of Jabong and Rahul Taneja, Chief Business Officer, Jabong.
Speaking at the event, Yuvraj Singh, owner of You We Can Ventures said,” YWC is built around the ethos – Live, Dare and Inspire – and aims to motivate individuals to fight against insurmountable odds, have courage and make fighters out of all of us. Jabong has a dedicated base of sports-loving and fashion-forward shoppers and will be an excellent platform for YWC to connect with more individuals and inspire them to have the grit and determination to overcome unassailable difficulties. The Amazon India Fashion Week AW17 finally got over last weekend. With my dual jobs as a fashion blogger and as a digital marketing professional, things get really difficult as I run between office and the fashion week venue - leaving me with almost no time for beauty maintenance.
Many of my blogger friends wonder how I still manage to attend the Fashion Week with equal energy, well, after attending 5-6 seasons of Fashion Weeks, I have got myself a beauty essentials list that easily get me through the Fashion Week season without stressing out much.
Infact, these are the things I keep with me before every important occasion to prepare myself for a beauty emergency :

- Veet Sensitive Touch Trimmer
Rushing to the parlour before every Fashion Week used to really troublesome every season, as I hardly used to get time for the same. But ever since I have been using Veet Sensitive Touch, I hardly have visited a parlour for hair removal.

Top Highlights of India's Most Definitive Design Week | India Design ID 2017

Hey everyone!
The season of Fashion and Style weeks again with a lot of events happening around Delhi and Mumbai. However, among all the fashion weeks - that sadly, have started looking like a repition now - one event that stood out really well is the India Design ID 2017 which is a unique Design week that held last weekend in Delhi.
I was lucky enough to be a part of the 5th season of India Design Week - an Ogaan Media Initiative that was held at NSIC, Okhla with my team.
India Design is an exhibition space that showcases the finest in home decoration, with high-end brands and designers unveiling their latest collections. India Design ID recognises and celebrates designers and creativity from diverse disciplines in designing ¬– interiors, product design, architecture and installations.
Into its 5th year, ID truly lived upto our expecations and here I am sharing the highlights of India's biggest Design celebration :
Preview and Launch party :
The celebrations started with a grand launch party organised at the venue with a preview of the exhibits as well as a band performance, among the presence India's biggest names in Design as well as the design-lovers.
Sarita Handa is all about pure design made with uncompromised craftsmanship. They launched their first ever handloom range of textiles and home-linen, including soft furnishings and accessories hand crafted from handloom fabrics.
Another exhibit that caught our fancy were the aspirational interiors by Apartment 9, whose designs cultivated innovative design spaces, while creating a fine balance between both contemporary and traditional styles.
The Trend Pavilion featured designer interpretations of the colour trends forecast for 2017. Asian Paints announced Intense Ocean as their Colour Next 2017 forecasts at the event to supplement the efforts of creating awareness and backing the design intent of India Design ID 2017
Outdoor installations
Artists were invited to put up special installations across the fairgrounds of the design exhibit.
These unique fluid funicular structures were a work of art by MOFA Studios and Cutting Creations, that were made of scrap steel were an effort to recreate a mega urban landscape for people to sit, lounge around and enjoy a cup of tea .
Food Court :
While the event presented food for thought, it also had a lot of options for the foodies such as Brown Sugar and Dunkin' Donuts. The special attracton was the No-Mad cafe by The Park Hotels that served amazing Indian and Thai delicacies to savour the tastebuds.
The fifth season of India Design 2017 was definitely a success in terms of presenting a curated experience of India's biggest and finest design and architecture names as well as sharing knowledge about the design industry and latest trends.

Themed Pavilions :
India Design ID presented themed pavilions, namely Decoration, Decoration I, Decoration II, Design and Trends. Housed within the Decoration Pavilion being the best in décor, the Trends Pavilion presented the Colour Next trend forecasts for 2017, and the Design Pavilion showcased the talents of designers and design labels. |

One exhibit that was totally breathtaking and mesmerised us was the Palace Collection by Adil Iqbal Ahmad that was inspired by the royal splendour of Indian palaces, The collection includes handcrafted wallpapers, elegant furniture, resplendent chandeliers, and luxury furnishings and tableware that would definitely convert an ordinary house to a palace with grandeur.

We also loved the decorative lighting installations by New Delhi based brand Klove - that specializes in unique lightings made using wirework, brass, silver, aluminium, wrought iron and stainless steel to translate ordinary lights into contemporary art.

India Design 2017 also showcased brands that manufacture bespoke furniture for children like Baby Select that offers several themes to nurture the unique interests of each child.
After all, we all have been raised reading about fairytales - and kids these days want their room to look no less than a palace too.

ID Symposium :
India Design 2017 not only proved to be a visual delight for the design enthusiasts, but also as a medium to share and gain knowledge with their initiative- ID Symposium that seeked to inspire the design fraternity in India, and also offered a networking opportunity to build relationships within the industry.
ID Symposium featured engaging speakers from different walks of life, such as Alberto Alessi, Humberto Campana, Sou Fujimoto, Ashiesh Shah, Sanjay Puri, Alberto Meda, Li Edelkoort to name a few.
