Day 3 : OOTD | Singapore Diaries | TSD in Singapore | TSD Travels
Tuesday 15 November 2016
Hola chicas!
Here's the third post from my Singapore diaries along with pictures of one of my favorite outfits that I wore during my trip.
While headed out for a city tour and a day full of shopping on a sunny day, I decided to wear a breezy and comfortable outfit so that I could explore the city with ease.
I chose to wear this denim dress from ZARA as you can never go wrong with an all-over denim dress whether you chose to wear it for a lunch date or a day out for shopping. To add more comfort factor, I styled it with a pair of printed sneakers that I had purchased from H&M in Singapore.
My go-to bag during my trip was this cute Tommy Hilfiger sling bag which is small but spacious enough to store a small wallet, passport and sunglasses.
Check out some pictures of my outfit plus the places I explored :
After a hearty meal at our hotel, we headed for a city tour in one of the hop-on hop-off buses that take you through the major attractions across the city.
We explored the Gardens by the Bay, Shoppes mall, Merlion Park, Orchard Road market, Bugis Street and Anchor Point.
Gardens by the Bay is an awe-inspiring park spanning 101 hectares in central Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. It is famous for its three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden that offer a breathtaking experience of nature.
I ended my day with loads of shopping (pictures coming in next post) from Anchor Point and an amazing dessert from Gelatissimo - a famous ice-cream point in Singapore.

Day 2 - Singapore Diaries - Madame Tussauds Singapore | TSD in Singapore | TSD Travels
Monday 14 November 2016
Hey everyone!
I am back with the second post from my Singapore diaries, which I know I have been posting very slowly - but I have been really occupied with few things lately which don't leave me with any time to write.
But, I do try to update my social media pages daily, so if you want to follow my fashion and lifestyle diaries - don't forget to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.
Coming back to this post, the agenda on our second day in Singapore was to explore Sentosa Island and its various attractions.
After a hearty breakfast at Holiday Inn Atrium, we headed to the Sentosa Island which is a popular island resort in Singapore which was located quite close to our hotel. The island is accessible by a monorail, Sentosa Boardwalk and a cable car. If you want to have a memorable experience, you should try to access the island through the cable car which originates from Mount Faber and passes through HarbourFront en route to its final destination at Imbiah Lookout.
The route offers a spectacular view of the island, passing over a highway, HarbourFront cruise bay and onto Sentosa, the State of Fun.
I had chosen a very convenient package from Tripxoxo to explore the Sentosa Island - that included a cable car return ticket and tickets for various attractions at the island. Infact, you can choose from many Sentosa Island packages available at Tripxoxo to suit your budget and travel requirements - that will make sure you don't have to waste time buying the tickets individually at the island.
Upon reaching the island, the first attraction I explored was the Tiger Sky Tower - which is an observatory tower, rotating up to 131 metres above sea level, offering360-degree panoramic views across Singapore's cityscape as well as neighbouring countries!
After having a breathtaking view of Singapore's various attractions from the Tiger Sky Tower, I moved to explore the Images of Singapore LIVE show - a unique, fun and interactive theatrical show, that takes you on a journey to uncover the nation's extraordinary story.
The LIVE show that takes you through the rich history of Singapore in a very attractive way ends with a boat ride that celebrates everything unique about the Singapore culture. After the show, one enters the Madame Tussauds museum which ofcourse, was one of the most thrilling experiences of my Sentosa Island visit.
It hosts wax statues of various sports, politics, music as well as film personalities - from Singapore, Asia and beyond.
I loved to get myself clicked with Modiji, Shahrukh, Taylor Swift and many other statues, but the most funny statues were of Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit and Angelina Jolie - which were drastically different from what these celebs actually look in-person.
Post visiting Madame Tussauds, I grabbed a quick cup of coffee at the Starbucks situated at the Sentosa Island - which I was surprised to know that priced quite reasonably and had a good offering of food as well.
Later, I explored the Sentosa Merlion - a legendary symbol of Singapore which is a mythical creature with a lion's head and a fish's body - as a guardian of prosperity which personifies Singapore's history as an important seaport.
It offers two views - one from the mouth of the Merlion and other from the crown - at 60 metres above sea level. There is also a Wishing bell located at the mouth of the Merlion - which is popularly known to make your wishes come true - well I don't know if the wishes do actually come true - but it was a beautiful experience indeed seeing the beauty of Singapore from this landmark.
The last part of the day was exploring the famous SEA Aquarium - home to more than 100,000 marine animals of over 800 species, across into 49 different habitats, each one as fascinating as the next.
The aquarium is huge - unlike any I have seen before and is so much fun to explore.
Stay tuned for the remaining posts from the Singapore diaries that will be up shortly!

After a day full of exploring the Sentosa Island ( which I still haven't completely explored, and I think I would need to travel to Singapore again to check out various other parts of Sentosa) - I did a little shopping at Victoria's Secret and other stores, especially Candylicious that I will show in the haul post soon.

Last month I posted about my stay experience at the Crowne Plaza Singapore and review of the stunning Changi Airport, Singapore. Well, as I was checking out my vacation pictures, I realized I still have a lot of pictures of the places I visited and my outfits during the trip.
So, I have decided to share some of my favorite pictures of the trip through these photo diaries of all the days of my trip.

For dinner, we headed to Clarke Quay - a riverside quay that is popular for its nightclubs and restaurants. You can choose to dance away the night with your friends at Clarke Quay, try different cuisines or even have a thrilling experience with the G-Max Reverse Bungy ride which is one of the major attarctions of Clarke Quay.

Well, we ended the night around 2am as we took a taxi back to our hotel. The best part of Singapore is its public transport - be it buses or taxis- that are readily available and totally safe to travel in, even late in the night.
Stay tuned for the next post covering the places I explored at Sentosa Island, Universal Studios and the shopping places. Do let me know your favorite things about Singapore in the Comments below!
