Hey lovelies!
Spring is my favourite time of the year. After being bundled up all winter in monochrome styles and layers of clothing, spring allows me to embrace the amazing weather with flowy silhouettes, bright colors and feminine prints.
It's the start of summer already, so I thought its the perfect time to do a recap to my favourite Spring looks of 2019. Below are three of my favourite looks of last season (that some of you might have seen already on my Instagram account) - so browse through if you are also2 on a hunt for statement wardrobe pieces this year :
Loving Them Culottes
I have these culottes in my wardrobe since sometime now but I have finally found a confidence to style them in many different ways. And I loved how it looked with this chic off-shoulder top that was actually a part of a co-ords set.
I plan to wear these culottes all around the summer, paired with different tees, as these are one of the most comfortable pants in my wardrobe.
Wrap It Up
Floral prints and spring are made for each other, and when mixed with a feminine silhouette - it makes for a perfect statement making outfit, just like this wrap-around dress from Shein. The bright and bold floral print makes the dress more chic and perfect for a romantic day out or a brunch with your BFFs.
Skirtin' Around
Skirts have always been my first love, and I never miss a chance to buy a trendy skirt and when I saw this season's hottest trend - a brown suede skirt - I knew I had to have it in my wardrobe.
While a skirt like this might look difficult to pull off at first, there are many cute ways to style this skirt all around the year.
While I paired my skirt with a striped tee, you can also pair it with a sequinned blouse or a denim shirt for a trendy look.
So, which of these outfits is your favourite? I know I have not been blogging very actively this year, but I definitely plan to start writing more often - share my latest outfits, hauls and other tips & tricks in the coming posts.

Spring Lookbook Recap | TSD Outfit Diaries

Hey lovelies!
It feels like I haven't written a blog post in ages, which is also true as last month I was in Delhi for two weeks and also visited my hometown Ludhiana. Overall, it was a busy month with a lot of catching up with family and friends, but also I managed to have a few shoots for my Summer lookbook.
And in today's post, I am covering one of my favourite outfits from the summer that features a beautiful sequinned skirt from ZARA that had been lying in my closet since a long time.
I picked this skirt last season from ZARA, but whenever I thought of wearing it - I kept it back in the closet thinking its way too loud for the day.
But as I had a spa party to host during my time in Delhi last month, I couldn't think of anything else than this skirt that's flowy, comfy yet dressy for the event.
To break the monotony of the skirt, I styled it with a boat-neck top from Cover Story and completed the look with the classic monochrome pumps from ZARA.
These statement making earrings from ZARA gave a complete party vibe to the outfit while the Aldo clutch is small but spacious to keep my phone and cards secure.

A sequinned skirt like this or even a pencil sequin dress is perfect for evening parties and events this festive season. The best part is that it can be dressed up or down in many ways like with a turtle-neck knit for a city-chic look, or with a graphic tee to add an instant edge to your outfit while making it perfect for a brunch with friends.
What's your take on this outfit and what are your picks for Festive Season dressing? Let me know in Comments below!

Hey lovelies!
Haven't we all gone through days, when we pick a trendy outfit from our favourite store, and get dressed one fine day in it and step out in style, only to be pointed out by someone - hey! Don't you think this outfit doesn't suit your body type???
Well, believe me or not - not only me but a lot of my skinny friends have also faced criticism on their outfit choices and it really baffles me. Why can't we appreciate our fellow women? Why do we have to really judge their outfit choices?
So, that's why I started the Curvy Style Guide series on my blog a few years back to share certain trends and styles that usually people advise curvy divas to 'not to wear'. But I think if you pick your outfits carefully, there's no trend that you can't flaunt with confidence.
In today's post, I am sharing one such trend - front-zip skirt - that even though considered to be too risqué, is a great pick to flaunt your curves. I picked this trendy skirt from ZARA which features an exposed front zipper and a striped waistband.
The best part about this skirt is that it can be styled from work to party easily, with just the change of a top and accessories. I styled my zip-up skirt for a party look, paired with a white bare shoulder top from Forever New and ankle strap wedges from Nine West. Completing my party look beautifully was this trendy sling bag from Michael Kors - which is my go-to bag these days for parties and dinner dates.
Have a look at more pictures from the look below -
The key to styling a front-zip skirt is to pick a style which is fun but not too flashy, and don't go overboard with too many zippers. While wearing a similar skirt, make sure you are not wearing any other exposed zippers - or you will end up looking trashy.
Zippers can help contour your body, so go for a style that connects at the centre (like mine) as it will make you appear thinner.
You'll also find skirts which have zipper pull tabs on both ends, so you can wear it multiple ways by going for a custom split as per your mood or the occasion.
So, have you tried the exposed zipper trend yet? If yes, let me know how you like to style yours in Comments below.

Hey lovelies!
No one loves facing a Monday after a great weekend, especially those who are working in a 9 to 5 job. And now that I have taken a break from my full-time job, I haven't been feeling the Monday blues any more. Which even though I rejoice, I do sometimes miss being at work and getting together my work wardrobe.
And when I saw these amazing side slit trousers at ZARA recently, I could think of so many ways I could I style these trendy pants, especially in my work wardrobe. Even if I am not working full-time, these pants are perfect for a work meeting or a semi-formal event.
So, I ended up pairing this with an oversized sequinned shirt that was one of my favourite finds from my first visit to the Colaba market in Mumbai.
Completing the look were my sleek ankle-strap heels from Mast & Harbour and a pair of statement earrings. And of course I couldn't help styling it with the Gucci pebbled leather bag which is in many ways a wardrobe staple. Not only it has a versatile design, but it is spacious enough to carry all my everyday essentials and has tall handles that are really comfortable to carry.
While I picked an oversized shirt to style these really smart side slit pants, you can pair it with a silk blouse or a tank top for a street smart look. Infact, you will find a lot of versions of these pants - with front slits, thigh-high side slits or even double-sided slits that are a breezy update to your favourite pants.
The best part of this new trend is that no matter what your personal style is, you will find a pair for every occasion, from a casual style for chilling at the pool or a structured style like mine that can take you from work to party.
What do you think about this breezy trend? Let me know in Comments below!

OOTD - Monday Blues Redefined | Curvy Style Guide
Friday, 15 June 2018
Hey lovelies!
It's been almost 7 years of blogging, but I have never done a What's In My Bag ever. So, recently when I did a poll on Instagram about what would everyone like to read next on the blog, they wanted to know about my everyday essentials, so I decided to do one.
While I am not working full time these days, the essential items that I keep in my bag haven't changed much. If you have noticed my previous outfit posts, you would have seen that I prefer to carry bigger bags or tote bags as I always keep a lot of things with me, especially if I know I am going to stay out for long hours.
So, I emptied my bag (which I carried to an event recently) and here's everything that is really and truly in my bag :
Sunglasses : Now, you might be wondering why I keep two pairs of sunglasses in my bag. Well, the printed sunnies are from Lefties - again a gift from my husband, and I keep them handy in my bag all the time. While the rose gold sunnies are from GUESS and were a gift from my brother, I had kept them in bag for the event and I wear them only occasionally.
Makeup Pouch : This glitter makeup pouch was actually a part of a holiday collection set that I bought from Lancome two years back and comes in handy to store my makeup properly.
Lipsticks : Being a lipstick addict, I always have two or more lipsticks in my bag. Especially on days when I have to go for a party or an event after work; as a different lipstick can instantly change your look even if you don't change your outfit.
MAC Mehr - This shade from MAC is so far the most versatile color I have seen. It not only goes well with any outfit I wear, but is also perfect for day and night.
MAC Night to Remember - I always have a red lipstick in my bag, and this one is a stunning red with a luminous finish and lasts for 5-6 hours easily.
NYX Soft Matte lip cream - This time in my bag I had the lip cream in Prague which is a bright pink that works well on Indian skin tones.
Compact Foundation : Revlon Photoready compact is something that comes in handy when you don't have a foundation or want a light, flawless base for your everyday makeup. Also, it can be used with a wet sponge for a higher coverage.
Makeup Palette : I usually carry this or a different makeup kit with me if I am having a long day out or have to attend an event directly after work or a meeting. This palette from NYX has literally everything you might need for a quick makeup - eye shadows, contouring shades and brow powders.
Mini Brush : This Elizabeth Arden blush brush was a part of a Set of 2 and comes in really handy to apply makeup on the go.
Body Mist : You can never go wrong with the ZARA Orange Blossom & Sandalwood which has a mild yet amazing fragrance and has a travel-friendly packaging.
Perfume : Again, I don't carry this perfume everyday but when I am going out for blog shoots or events. GUESS 1981 is one of my latest picks and has a soothing woody musky base with floral and fruity notes that are perfect for a dressy day.
So, yes, this is an extensive list of products in my bag and often my friends say that I always have something or other in my bag that they need when we are out together. But well, one's always got to be prepared, right?

My Go-To Bag : Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 - I picked this bag last year as my first luxury purchase and it has been my BFF ever since. I mean what's not to love about this bag? It's super spacious, easy to carry and goes well with everything in my wardrobe.
Wallet : Trussardi Jeans - So, my husband picked this elegant wallet from Portugal recently and it easily fits into most of my small bags as well. It comes with a handy money pouch that can be carried separately as well; and has multiple slots to keep my cards handy.
Business Cards and Holder : So, I received this business card holder as a gift few years back and I designed my business card myself. I carry them every time in my bag, as when you are blogging full-time, you may end up meeting prospective brands who would want to work with you anywhere.
House Keys and Pen Drive : So, the bow shaped key chain from H&M doubles up as a key holder and bag charm and I think it's really cute. The heel-shaped pen drive was actually a gift from Steve Madden a few years ago and can also double up as a bag charm.
Sunglasses : Now, you might be wondering why I keep two pairs of sunglasses in my bag. NYX Soft Matte lip cream - This time in my bag I had the lip cream in Prague which is a bright pink that works well on Indian skin tones.
Lip Balm : Now I don't suffer from chapped lips, but I still like to keep a lip balm as when a matte lipstick starts wearing out, a coat of lip balm can help you go for couple of more hours
Eye Liner : Not one of my favorite eye liners, but I guess I had this Nykaa eye liner in my bag that day as I couldn't find my regular MAC eye pencil. Nothing bad about this liner, but I just find its applicator uncomfortable to use.
Kajal : I picked the VLCC Enchanting eyes Kajal recently after being off-kajal for weeks due to an infection a previous Kajal I used caused. This not only suits my eyes without causing any dryness, but also is super black and lasts for hours long.
Mascara : So, apart from lipsticks I am a mascara fan and I have a lot of mascaras. This time I had in my bag an Oriflame super volume mascara and a MAC 3D Black lash mascara (travel size).

Mini Perfume : Part of a Victoria's Secret Tease set I bought from Singapore, this mini perfume fits perfectly in any small bag as well and has an enticing floral fragrance with a blend of black vanilla, frozen pear and blooming gardenia.

MAC Prep + Prime : It actually works like a balm or a base for a lipstick by instantly adding moisture and smoothing the lips.
MAC Blot Film : I also keep a pack of blotting papers in my bag as I have a combination skin, and this thin film helps remove traces of oil or shine without smudging the makeup.

What's In My Go-To Bag | Things That Take Me Through The Day
Friday, 25 May 2018
Hey lovelies!
It's been over a month that I have shared an outfit post with you all. January has actually been quite a busy month for me, and even though I had planned a few posts - I couldn't publish them in time.
Well, there have been a few personal developments that I would share soon. For now, I have one of my favorite outfits of the season that includes two fabulous trends - bralettes and military green.
A lot of girls think that they can't wear a bralette if they are curvy, but, when you know how to style it right - a bralette can be a curvy woman's best friend especially since they are so comfortable and edgy. That's why when I picked this twist front army green jumper from Forever 21, I knew it will go perfectly with my H&M bralette which I usually also pair with my sheer tops.
I completed the look with my suede look Zara jeggings and knee-length Marks & Spencer boots. I paired the outfit with a statement-making choker from Zara and an animal print bag from Aldo which has turned out to be wardrobe staple lately.
What's your take on this outfit? Are you also hooked onto the bralette trend this season? Let me know in the Comments below.

If you also wish to try bralettes before the trend runs out, then you can check them out at H&M or Forever 21 where you will find them in a lot of styles and colors.
You can pick a bralette that fits you well and offers decent coverage as well, and style it with a sheer or mesh top; or layer it with a jumper or cowl-neck top like I did.

A lace bralette top is also one style that you can try with a blazer or on its own, with wide-leg pants for a look that's fresh and edgy.
