Hey lovelies!
Spring is my favourite time of the year. After being bundled up all winter in monochrome styles and layers of clothing, spring allows me to embrace the amazing weather with flowy silhouettes, bright colors and feminine prints.
It's the start of summer already, so I thought its the perfect time to do a recap to my favourite Spring looks of 2019. Below are three of my favourite looks of last season (that some of you might have seen already on my Instagram account) - so browse through if you are also2 on a hunt for statement wardrobe pieces this year :
Loving Them Culottes
I have these culottes in my wardrobe since sometime now but I have finally found a confidence to style them in many different ways. And I loved how it looked with this chic off-shoulder top that was actually a part of a co-ords set.
I plan to wear these culottes all around the summer, paired with different tees, as these are one of the most comfortable pants in my wardrobe.
Wrap It Up
Floral prints and spring are made for each other, and when mixed with a feminine silhouette - it makes for a perfect statement making outfit, just like this wrap-around dress from Shein. The bright and bold floral print makes the dress more chic and perfect for a romantic day out or a brunch with your BFFs.
Skirtin' Around
Skirts have always been my first love, and I never miss a chance to buy a trendy skirt and when I saw this season's hottest trend - a brown suede skirt - I knew I had to have it in my wardrobe.
While a skirt like this might look difficult to pull off at first, there are many cute ways to style this skirt all around the year.
While I paired my skirt with a striped tee, you can also pair it with a sequinned blouse or a denim shirt for a trendy look.
So, which of these outfits is your favourite? I know I have not been blogging very actively this year, but I definitely plan to start writing more often - share my latest outfits, hauls and other tips & tricks in the coming posts.

Spring Lookbook Recap | TSD Outfit Diaries

Hey lovelies!
It feels like I haven't written a blog post in ages, which is also true as last month I was in Delhi for two weeks and also visited my hometown Ludhiana. Overall, it was a busy month with a lot of catching up with family and friends, but also I managed to have a few shoots for my Summer lookbook.
And in today's post, I am covering one of my favourite outfits from the summer that features a beautiful sequinned skirt from ZARA that had been lying in my closet since a long time.
I picked this skirt last season from ZARA, but whenever I thought of wearing it - I kept it back in the closet thinking its way too loud for the day.
But as I had a spa party to host during my time in Delhi last month, I couldn't think of anything else than this skirt that's flowy, comfy yet dressy for the event.
To break the monotony of the skirt, I styled it with a boat-neck top from Cover Story and completed the look with the classic monochrome pumps from ZARA.
These statement making earrings from ZARA gave a complete party vibe to the outfit while the Aldo clutch is small but spacious to keep my phone and cards secure.

A sequinned skirt like this or even a pencil sequin dress is perfect for evening parties and events this festive season. The best part is that it can be dressed up or down in many ways like with a turtle-neck knit for a city-chic look, or with a graphic tee to add an instant edge to your outfit while making it perfect for a brunch with friends.
What's your take on this outfit and what are your picks for Festive Season dressing? Let me know in Comments below!

Hey lovelies!
Haven't we all gone through days, when we pick a trendy outfit from our favourite store, and get dressed one fine day in it and step out in style, only to be pointed out by someone - hey! Don't you think this outfit doesn't suit your body type???
Well, believe me or not - not only me but a lot of my skinny friends have also faced criticism on their outfit choices and it really baffles me. Why can't we appreciate our fellow women? Why do we have to really judge their outfit choices?
So, that's why I started the Curvy Style Guide series on my blog a few years back to share certain trends and styles that usually people advise curvy divas to 'not to wear'. But I think if you pick your outfits carefully, there's no trend that you can't flaunt with confidence.
In today's post, I am sharing one such trend - front-zip skirt - that even though considered to be too risqué, is a great pick to flaunt your curves. I picked this trendy skirt from ZARA which features an exposed front zipper and a striped waistband.
The best part about this skirt is that it can be styled from work to party easily, with just the change of a top and accessories. I styled my zip-up skirt for a party look, paired with a white bare shoulder top from Forever New and ankle strap wedges from Nine West. Completing my party look beautifully was this trendy sling bag from Michael Kors - which is my go-to bag these days for parties and dinner dates.
Have a look at more pictures from the look below -
The key to styling a front-zip skirt is to pick a style which is fun but not too flashy, and don't go overboard with too many zippers. While wearing a similar skirt, make sure you are not wearing any other exposed zippers - or you will end up looking trashy.
Zippers can help contour your body, so go for a style that connects at the centre (like mine) as it will make you appear thinner.
You'll also find skirts which have zipper pull tabs on both ends, so you can wear it multiple ways by going for a custom split as per your mood or the occasion.
So, have you tried the exposed zipper trend yet? If yes, let me know how you like to style yours in Comments below.

Hey lovelies!
No one loves facing a Monday after a great weekend, especially those who are working in a 9 to 5 job. And now that I have taken a break from my full-time job, I haven't been feeling the Monday blues any more. Which even though I rejoice, I do sometimes miss being at work and getting together my work wardrobe.
And when I saw these amazing side slit trousers at ZARA recently, I could think of so many ways I could I style these trendy pants, especially in my work wardrobe. Even if I am not working full-time, these pants are perfect for a work meeting or a semi-formal event.
So, I ended up pairing this with an oversized sequinned shirt that was one of my favourite finds from my first visit to the Colaba market in Mumbai.
Completing the look were my sleek ankle-strap heels from Mast & Harbour and a pair of statement earrings. And of course I couldn't help styling it with the Gucci pebbled leather bag which is in many ways a wardrobe staple. Not only it has a versatile design, but it is spacious enough to carry all my everyday essentials and has tall handles that are really comfortable to carry.
While I picked an oversized shirt to style these really smart side slit pants, you can pair it with a silk blouse or a tank top for a street smart look. Infact, you will find a lot of versions of these pants - with front slits, thigh-high side slits or even double-sided slits that are a breezy update to your favourite pants.
The best part of this new trend is that no matter what your personal style is, you will find a pair for every occasion, from a casual style for chilling at the pool or a structured style like mine that can take you from work to party.
What do you think about this breezy trend? Let me know in Comments below!

OOTD - Monday Blues Redefined | Curvy Style Guide
Friday, 15 June 2018
Hey everyone!
The summer is at its peak here in Mumbai, and every time I have to step out of the home, I can think of nothing but wearing a casual breezy dress that is comfortable and easy to style.
And my go-to pick this season have been denim dresses that are not only available in various flattering shapes but are also totally in trend. While I have a few denim dresses in styles like off-shoulder, halter-neck; I am totally in love with this cute skater dress from Cover Story that works as an off-duty staple and matches with literally everything from my wardrobe.
While the dress is simple and elegant, it's bell sleeves make it a total stunner. And as I am wearing my chooda (bangles) for a few months, I decided to keep the rest of the accessories minimal with just a moon-shaped pendant from Accessorize and ankle-strap wedges from Nine West.
While I wore my denim dress with a pair of wedges, you can totally rock it with a pair of sneakers or tie-up sandals for a cool summer look.

10 Curvy Fashion Labels You Need to Try and You Will Love | Curvy Style Guide
Saturday, 5 May 2018
Hey everyone!
Being curvy and loving fashion was a bad thing in India till a few years ago. Ask me why? Well, because hardly any brands understood the fashion needs of curvy and plus size women. While I used to find my size with many brands, a lot of my friends had difficulty finding trendy clothes as most curvy fashion brands made clothes that were anti-fit and boring.
Thankfully, when a lot of international brands started introducing plus size lines along with their main lines; Indian brands also realised that this market has a lot of potential as women in India also started loving their curves and wanted to flaunt them in the best away.
I also realised this when I had introduced the section 'Curvy Style Guide' on my blog, and many of my followers came up to me and told me how much they appreciate my posts and that it helped them feel confident about flaunting latest trends no matter what size they are.
Last week, I received a few queries regarding the best available brands for curvy women, so I have made a list of 10 brands including a few of my favourites that are doing plus size fashion right :
- ASOS : One brand that I truly admire and love shopping from regularly is ASOS. They have a Curve line and includes many styles as an extension to their regular line. If you are looking for trendy dresses, tops or even swimwear - you can trust to find the best designs at ASOS.
The international shipping could be one con, but it's nothing if you want the best fashion for curvy sizes. You can read my earlier online shopping experience with ASOS here.
- Half Full Curve :
I came across this brand while reading an article online and loved their classy dresses that you can pick for special occasions. Though the number of styles available currently on their website are limited, but have few beautiful draped dresses for those cocktail parties.
- Marks & Spencer :
The high street fashion house has off late started including styles till size UK 24 in the plus size line and is one of the best options if you wish to buy office wear or smart casuals.
- StalkBuyLove :
If you love fast fashion, you would admire the chic styles and reasonable prices of StalkBuyLove which offers plus size apparel and introduces new designs regularly.
- Amydus :
I haven't tried this brand myself, as they don't offer my size. But they include plus sizes, starting from Size 0 (here it is UK Size 16) and goes up to size 5 (UK 26) and includes western wear as well as ethnic wear like kurtas and palazzos in their collection.
- Afamado :
Unlike other plus size brands which only offer bigger sizes, Afamado offers all styles in sizes varying from XS to 6X, therefore making sure that any woman who is looking for trendy clothes online can pick a style no matter what their size is.
- Lastinch :
If you are looking for wardrobe basics likes casual tees, tops, maxi dresses and more, you can try Lastinch which offers comfortable and reasonable clothing for women with curves.
- MANGO :
I didn't know about the plus size line Violeta by MANGO until I checked out their website recently. While I didn't see a lot of the plus size clothes in their stores, the website offers a wide range of styles in tops, dresses, bottom wear, swimwear and more in sizes upto 54, that you can get delivered anywhere in India.
- Faballey :
Another fast fashion label, Faballey has a lot of its regular styles available in plus sizes (just like the dress I am wearing above from their regular line) - therefore being more size-inclusive and offering latest high-street trends at reasonable prices.
- Calae :
Again, I haven't tried this brand personally as they don't keep my size, but I loved the styles that they have. While other brands focus on just a couple of styles with mostly neutral colours, Calae had off-shoulder, one-shoulder styles in variety of colours that are perfect for every occasion.
Love
Nitika
( PS : A lot of plus size brands start from UK Size 16 or 2XL (like Asos Curve, Amydus etc), while others start at UK Size 12 or L .)
