Hope you all are geared up for the Holiday season and ready to welcome the New Year in style. I am also planning to visit my hometown soon to be with family & friends to start 2016.

 I am sharing a Review today of one of my favorite Beauty products that have been a part of my daily skincare routine since a long time. I am talking about the Nivea Roll-ons range.

While I have been using Nivea Deo for Sensitive skin since a few years, I recently got to try their Roll-Ons which are an alternative for people who don't like to use a deodorant spray.

I ended up trying 2 variants of the Nivea Roll-ons with Abhinav from my team that are : Nivea Fresh Natural and Nivea Men Fresh Power.





I would first be talking about the Fresh Natural Roll On :


What: 
NIVEA FRESH Natural Roll On with ocean extracts offers true confidence when it comes to battling body odour. The optimal combination of a 48 hour protection and NIVEA’s care provides a fresh feeling throughout the day.

Price : 
Rs 175 for 50ml
My Thoughts : 
Packaged beautifully in a clear glass bottle and a white cap, the roll-on can easily fit into any makeup pouch or purse. While the bottle is a little heavy, I don't mind carrying it around as it is quite portable and smaller than other deodorant sprays available in market.


The fragrance is really refreshing and is mild yet carries the fresh feel of ocean extracts. Being a lover of feminine, breezy scents, I instantly got a liking for this fragrance and have been using it regularly since last 2 weeks. I just apply it once a day before going for work, and even after coming back, the fragrance still lingers on with no body odour.

The texture of the roll-on is light, and takes a while (30-40 seconds) to dry fully. It doesn't leave behind a residue, therefore there was no issue of it living marks or stains on my clothes. To apply it evenly on my underarms, I roll it on 2-3 times and that's enough for the whole day.


With the current use, I think it will last me a good 2 months as you don't need a lot of amount to cover the underarms. Overall, I am glad that it makes my skin stay dry and "as fresh as a daisy" throughout the day and helps fight body odour effectively.

Now, coming to the NIVEA Men Fresh Power roll-on which was tried by Abhinav from our team, here is his experience :

NIVEA MEN Fresh Power Roll On offers you a warm musk & oriental fragrance. The optimal combination of long lasting antiperspirant protection and NIVEA’s care keeps you feeling fresh all day long. 




Price : Rs 155 for 50 ml

My Thoughts : To begin with, isn't it surprising that the men's roll-on is cheaper than the women's, as usually it's the other way round! Haha.. Anyway, this roll-on is perfect for men who love their strong, masculine scents which last long. Having some key notes of Musk, it is a powerful scent which does not contain any alcohol, therefore works best for people like me who have a sensitive skin.

The fragrance is not overpowering and settles down well in few minutes and lasts for a good 8-10 hours with no odour at the end of the day. Also, post application, it gets dry really quick (within 20-30 seconds) as opposed to some roll-ons which end up spoiling my clothes.

The bottle might seem heavy to some but fits nicely in any backpack or office bag, therefore it should not be of much trouble.
If you love your bold and refreshing scents then you must try you should give this one a try as it is a really long-lasting roll-on that prevents body odor and doesn't irritate the skin at all.

Remember the time when I reviewed the uber chic Oppo N3 smartphone? Well, we all loved its rotating camera feature and trendy body, and Oppo has decided to take things ahead with its latest offering - Oppo R7 Plus.

Oppo R7 Plus is more of a phablet with a premium and unique large-screen Metal Unibody that makes it uber stylish and trendy. That's not all, it is loaded with other amazing features as well which I am going to talk about in this post.


In this post, I will be reviewing the phone on three major factors : Features, Camera and Battery Life.


Features :

Oppo R7 Plus has a 6 inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen that makes it quite a huge smartphone, but a blessing for those who love their smartphones - bold and big.
It has a 2.5D Arc Edge Screen with a concept of 'Free Curves' that gives it redefined curves and adds beauty to its design.

Featuring a large memory with 3GB RAM  and a quad-core Snapdragon 615 processor, it allows you to store numerous apps and use them smoothly.  One of the interesting features is its Fingerprint sensor which is in the form of a square sensor at the back, that can be pressed gently to activate the phone and unlock it.

Oppo R7 Plus allows you to use Dual sim or use one sim with an external Micro SD card. It already has a 32GB in-built memory which is more than enough for smartphone users like me who only like to store Songs, Pictures and selective apps.


Camera :
Oppo R7 Plus is loaded with a 13MP camera with Laser Autofocus and Sony IMX278 sensor, f/2.2 lens, and dual LED flash.

Its Ultra HD imaging mode helps take very crisp and sharp pictures, but I do think that the picture quality isn't quite very impressive even with the many features.

The camera does help capture minute and major details of an object in depth, but I think it doesn't get the lighting of the photograph very accurately.


The 8MP front camera faired better as it helped take bright, beautiful shots. And its feature Beautify 3.0 helps customize the photograph with pre-set effects that instantly
beautify any pi ture.

Battery Life :
Coming to the battery life, the R7 Plus has an ultra-large battery capacity and features Flash Charging  that enables you to charge the smartphone faster and just 5 minutes of charging supports 2 hours of talk time.
Perfect for users like me who travel a lot and don't necessarily get a lot of time to fully charge the phone between continuous use of the phone to take pictures, browse internet or watching videos.

Especially in this wedding season, when you are out and about shopping or attending festivals, you really don't want to struggle with low battery while taking pictures or videos, that's where its Battery life proves that it can last long while you capture all your favorite memories.

Overall Views :
At a price tag of Rs 29,999 for its 32 GB model, Oppo R7 Plus is definitely an impressive smartphone/phablet with a stylish metallic body and classy looks. But it is a smartphone that might only attract people who love bigger phones, as it is slightly difficult to use with just one hand. 

Also, if you are a person who can't live without listening to FM all day long, you may want to re-consider as it lacks NFC or FM radio.
But if its all about Looks, high quality camera, amazing battery life and higher Internal memory, Oppo R7 Plus might just be the perfect pick for you.

I am back with an Outfit post which backs to my Goa vacation last month. I don't wear Rompers or Playsuits much, but I do love how easy-to-style they are.

So when I recently saw this cute romper and jacket set on Stalk Buy Love, I knew I had to have it for my vacation. And damn, I was so right - it was one of the best outfits I could have for a day at the beach.

The fact that this trendy tribal print romper comes with a floor-length lace jacket, takes it to the next level of chic. As it was a casual day out to the beach, I styled the look with a shell-neckpiece (gifted to be my Park hotel Goa staff), flip-flops that I picked from a local store in Goa and a sleek watch (Yes! I wear my watch every time, even to the beach :D ).

And just to add glamour to my look, I wore my Baroque sunglasses from PRADA which I purchased recently from Dubai. To add a dash of color to the look, I carried my belongings in a subtle pink handbag by Waterlily LA (Amazon Must-have Handbags).

Last month I had visited Goa for a short vacation and had shared many updates about the same on my social media accounts.
During my stay, I spent 2 nights at the luxurious property - Alila Diwa Goa,  which is a unique resort located in Majorda, just 20 minutes from Goa Dabolim International Airport.


While planning this vacation, I was looking for resorts which not only offer luxury but also a comfortable and peaceful stay, as I wanted to take a relaxing break from the hectic Delhi life.

I am glad that I chose Alila Diwa Goa for my stay in Goa, read on to know my experience-

We had a late evening flight, and the last thing we wanted to do was to find the hotel with tiring faces in a new city. But gladly, the hotel staff arranged an Airport pick-up, which ensured a comfortable journey from the airport to the hotel.

Diwa Club Suite

Alila Diwa Goa boasts of 153 rooms and suites that offer havens of space, comfort and serenity. And we had the beautiful Diwa Club suite for our stay, which is a part of the exclusive Diwa Club - with a concept of a Resort within a Resort at Alila.

Our room had a private balcony, living room, a bar, a spacious dressing and shower bathroom with a separate bathub which was already prepared at our arrival with hot water, roses and scent.

This suite was one of the most spacious rooms I have come across in a Luxury resort so far, making the Diwa Club stand true to its name - a Diva in its own right.



While Club Diwa has its own private pool, an open air Jacuzzi and private all-day dining Bistro; the main area also has an infinity pool to accommodate the guests of the Alila Diwa.

What makes this property different from other resorts in Goa is that it is surrounded by lush green plantations, gardens, swaying palm grooves and sparkling waters of the Arabian Sea. It takes you away from the hustle & bustle of city life, so that you enjoy your stay feeling calm and serene.


For all your dining needs, Alila Diwa has two main restaurants to serve various tastes and needs:

For a relaxed meal at any time of the day, one can dine at VIVO which overlooks the resort pool and paddy fields, and features comfortable indoor and shaded open-air spaces for a delightful experience. One can enjoy their favorites dishes from the vast Oriental, Indian and Continental menu.

The restaurant which actually made us awestruck was the Spice Studio which has a contemporary setup for a unique dining experience centered on Indian flavors, various techniques and cooking styles. Don't forget to try the Chef special Sea food while at the restaurant which has the local flavors that are totally mouthwatering.

For quick drinks by the pool, they have Edge Bar which overlooks the cool blue waters of the infinity pool and serves as a stylish venue for a drink after a swim or in the evening.


This resort has certainly been designed keeping in mind the needs of a luxury traveler, who often travels with family and friends.
Its facilities like Kids Club, Kids pool, private mini theater, Library, Fitness Center, salon and more really left us impressed.


One of the other attractions of the resort is its Alila Living boutique which is perfect for shoppers like me who wish to enjoy their vacation peacefully, while not wishing to travel far for their shopping needs like buying Souvenirs, gifts etc.

One can also buy their amazing range of Skincare products from the boutique which are exclusively made for Alila Diwa and used in their spas too.


I also experienced a Spa therapy at the Spa Alila which I will be covering separately in the next post.
