"I love Indian tradition and colour and this is the
reason why I believe that no other designer can play with so many
colours in one garment like the way I do. I believe in telling stories
through my designs and this is what my couture line was all about.
"It
was meant for all the powerful women who believes in creating name for
themselves," said the designer who showcased his collection at the
French Embassy in Delhi.
Hola chicas!
Hope you all are doing great and having loads of fun this Sunday. Do you know what I am doing?
I am blogging live right now from Goa from the The Zuri White Sand Resorts where I have come this weekend to have a Zestful experience with Tata Motors.
I flew here with fellow bloggers Apurva from Kalapalette, Anshita from Vanity No Apologies, Bhumika from New Love Makeup and many others yesterday to be welcomed by the lovely weather of Goa and beautiful scenic roads from where we all went to our hotel Zuri where we had a lavish lunch and went to our rooms to freshen up. My roomie over the stay was the lovely blogger Bhumika whom I was meeting for the second time after having met her at another event few weeks back in Mumbai.
We went to chill and spend some time at the private beach area of the resort later in the evening which had a mesmerizing view of the sea, white sands and a lovely breeze blowing. After spending precious time at the beach we got ready and went for our Masterclass which was hosted by Malini of Miss Malini who introduced to us the brand new car by Tata Motors - ZEST which promises of fabulous features and design that were revealed to us just today.

Rani Sultanat by Shantanu & Nikhil - Couture Autumn Winter Collection
Saturday 26 July 2014
Hey lovely readers!
Wishing you all a lovely and rocking weekend.. I also have some great plans this weekend which I would reveal shortly in my next post.
Last week Delhi played host to an iconic event which saw collaboration of designers Shantanu & Nikhil and a premium liquor brand - JOHNNIE WALKER® at an event organized at the JW Marriott, New Delhi, Aerocity where the designer duo presented their Couture AW collection, Rani Sultanat.
JOHNNIE WALKER® BLACK LABEL®, the iconic Scotch whisky renowned for its distinctive flavours, also launched a limited edition Art Deco bottle design at the magnificent fashion showcase. In a celebration of opulence, glamour, sophistication and the bold flavours associated with a golden era in history, the two brands came together, inspired by a common muse – the fine luxury of a truly illustrious time.
The evening began with a Pre-show cocktails party where JOHNNIE WALKER® served their classic cocktails using the BLACK LABEL®. And next we went ahead to be welcomed by an extravagant and royal set-up featuring dome-shaped sitting areas for the guests and a winding ramp around the domes.
The outfits in the collection drew inspiration from the journey of a glamorous princess towards becoming a queen by using splendour of couture and her bold crispness as the only form of expression. The inspiration was truly reflecting in the flowy gowns, embroidered lehengas, sari gowns and elaborate royal outfits.

Monisha Jaising's World Bride - India Couture Week 2014
Wednesday 23 July 2014
Hey everyone!
I am back with more updates from the recently held India Couture Week 2014 presented by Shree Raj Mahal Jewellers.
In this post I will be covering the exquisite designs presented by one of my favorite designers Monisha Jaising with her collection World Bride with the setup of a Paris street.
World Bride takes its influence from the City Palace, Jaipur, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. The palace complex incorporates an impressive and vast array of courtyards, gardens and buildings, which has been captured in the form of imagery and intricate embroidery in Jaisingh's collection.
The models sashayed down the ramp to showcase the 'World Bride' range, inspired by the lifestyles of the high-borne from the past. The collection's inspiration is a fusion of Indian, Mughal and European styles of monarchy architecture and lifestyle.

Hey lovely readers!
I am back with an Outfit post after a long time featuring a pair of slouch pants I recently purchased from Forever 21 India. As you all know I have been a fan of printed pants, and this pair of pants is the latest addition in my wardrobe which has a unique style that I haven't owned before.
With a relaxed and comfortable fit, these Tribal printed pants have become my favorite pair for those casual day outs shopping or going out for a brunch with friends.
This time, I paired them up with a plain grey tee from Raymond (Woolmark), from their Soft Wool collection. These pants would also look good with colors like black, neon yellow and other bright solid tops.
To jazz up the outfit, I added white studded flats from Aldo Accessories and a chevron-chain neckpiece from Aldo Accessories again. But what I personally like the most about the outfit is the oversized studded bag with transparent sides from Romwe.com .
Have a look at the pictures below -

Closeup Diamond Attraction - Launch and Bloggers Meet | #InstaSmileNight
Monday 14 July 2014
Hola chicas!
Hope you all had a fun weekend! I spent the weekend doing lots of fun things including meeting the ace designer Monisha Jaising over a dinner meetup, indulging in a Hydra Facial at Aayna and watching the latest Bollywood flick - Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya with a friend. The blog posts for the first two would follow in a couple of days.
Today I am writing about a very fun and lively event I attended last weekend in Mumbai. And if you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you must be knowing already that it was for CloseUp India. 10 Delhi bloggers including me were flown to Mumbai for attending the launch of Closeup Diamond Attraction toothpaste and be a part of a very interesting Bloggers Meet.
And as it was the first time I was visiting Mumbai, I was really excited to be a part of the same. We landed in Mumbai on Saturday and were driven to our hotel which was located right next to the Juhu Beach which I later visited with my fellow bloggers before we got ready to attend the event.
The event was organized at Bungalow 9 which is a very lively and beautiful fine dining restaurant located in Bandra. The event started with all of the bloggers being given sashes with titles to match their personalities, and I had received the title - Insta SmartyPants. Later the lovely host Khushboo played some interactive games with us that let us mingle and have fun.
Post that a beautiful dance was presented whose highlights were the laser lights used before the dancers revealed the revolutionary new toothpaste - Closeup Diamond Attraction.

Hey lovely readers!
It's almost mid-week and I am badly awaiting this weekend as I plan to rejuvenate with a facial treatment and some shopping.
And when it comes to rejuvenation and relaxation, one brand which I have discovered and loved lately is Alaya Spa & Salon located at DLF Place, Saket, Delhi.
I was introduced to this amazing spa by a fellow blogger and friend Awungshi who has reviewed this spa on her blog earlier. So, I went to visit this spa and salon a few months back for a Hair Spa and haircut which were really good. But that time I totally missed on writing about my spa experience, so last weekend when I got a chance to visit the spa again for a Hair Spa and Haircut, I made sure I carried my camera along to click few pictures to show you all.
"ALAYA, also known as the eighth consciousness, or the final state of the mind before it attains nirvana.
Alaya Spa + Salon is an oasis away from the staleness of life which promises a similar experience in your quest for inner peace and well-being. A visit to Alaya is truly a retreat that will relax your mind, revive your body and rejuvenate your soul. "
And it truly stands true to its name, as my whole experience at the spa - right from entering the spa and towards the end helped me rejuvenate and relax my mind to the fullest.
The staff of the spa is really warm and welcoming and they are eager to take you through the services offered and even show you around the whole property. After informing them that I would like to go through the Supercharge Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment, I was directed towards the salon on the Ground Floor where instantly one of the Hair Spa Specialists was appointed to do my hair spa.

Tuxedo Style Guide - How to Wear a Tuxedo in Different Ways
Thursday 3 July 2014
Hey lovely readers!
Wishing you all a Happy July, and hoping this month turns out good for each one of us :)
Today I am writing about a trend I haven't touched before on this blog but have always loved and admired personally. And the trend is wearing Tuxes with dresses and formal wear for women.
While tuxedos are a popular dressing style for men to look sharp and smart, I believe even women can carry off a tux really well if paired properly and be at the top of the fashion game in any season. A tuxedo has been a favorite of many celebrities and designers on the ramp and off the ramp lately.
Here I show you can raid a tuxedo from your man's wardrobe and add it to your look for a unique style -
The most common but chic way of wearing a tuxedo is with a tailored shirt and trousers, and pairing them up with a tux having padded shoulders. Wear a smart bow tie and brooch to add a personal style touch to your look.
