Hey lovely readers!
My favorite month November is here and thankfully this time my birthday fell on a weekend (1st Nov) and I had a great time attending Sunburn Festival in Noida with my friends.
I am back with the first Outfit Post of November which dates back to last month when I attended Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in Delhi. On Day 4 of the fashion week, I decided to wear a beautiful skirt which has been hidden in my closet since an year and I never really got the confidence to wear it.
This beige Tutu skirt is a very feminine piece with layers of net ending just over the knees. I had fallen in love with this skirt when I saw it online and purchased it right away, but I never really found it suitable for any occasion.
But this time as I decided to attend the Fashion Week, I made my mind to wear this skirt atleast on one day. Because of its subtle color, it would have worked well with any contrasting bright color so I picked this floral halter-neck top from NEXT. To complete the outfit, I accessorized it with a quilted handbag from Romwe.com, Forever21 neckpiece and a Daniel Wellington striped watch.
As I had to be running around at the venue in between shows, I wore my BATA flats which are really comfortable.
Here are the pictures of my outfit -

Hola chicas!
Hope you all are doing good.. Its Friday and I have some exciting plans for this weekend which also includes the Indiblogger Meet this Sunday. I hope it would be as exciting as the last time.
My last post was on the store visit to Crabtree & Evelyn, DLF Place, Saket! And I had promised that I would share the outfit I wore that day soon.
I had to rush to the event directly from work, so I couldn't wear anything flashy or blingy. The dress code at my office is quite relaxed, we are allowed to wear Smart Casuals or semi-formals, but most of the people at my office also turn up in pure casuals.
If you are bored of wearing Indian ethnic wear or western formals to office daily, you can jazz up your look by trying Smart Casuals if your office allows. Here are a few tips if you wish to wear smart casuals to work -
- Rather than plain, light colored shirts you can experiment by wearing blouses, stylish knit tops, a nice sweater set, or classic sleeveless tops with a cardigan or jacket.
- You can play with stylish color-blocking as well, and can wear printed shirts or blouses with pleated trousers or cropped pants.
- You can also wear smart knee length dresses, skirts and even palazzo pants to make a unique style statement. ;)
- A pair of Palazzo pants with a tucked in pussy bow blouse, heels and satchel bag would definitely make you look good and you can even head to a bar with friends later in the same outfit.
I decided to wear my checks print formal trousers with a black camisole and wore a cut-out sleeves top as a crop-top to give the outfit a chic look. To give the outfit a more glam look- I added the lovely aztec print necklace from Forever 21.

Hey everyone!
I hope you all had a great weekend! I visited Crabtree & Evelyn's DLF Saket store yesterday with Apurva from Kalapalette and had a great time!
Would share my outfit and other pictures of the store in the next post!
Today's outfit is what I had worn last weekend when my best friend was visiting me. We went to Select Citywalk to celebrate her birthday and had lunch at Sphagetti Kitchen, though she completely disliked their Italian cuisine! Maybe next time I would take her to somewhere where they serve spicy Indian food :D
Coming back to the theme of the post, whenever I am around with friends, colleagues or fellow fashion bloggers, there's a common topic of debate between us - Thrifted or Branded- which fashion is acceptable?
Personally, I don't care if I am wearing thrifted or branded stuff until and unless they suit me and are trendy!
My wardrobe is a mix of clothes and accessories which I have purchased from many high-end brands like Vero Moda, Zara, Mango ; retail brands like Westside, Lifestyle and also many tops from markets like Sarojini Nagar and GK M Block. And to be frank- I like purchasing high end brands only for special occasions, formal wear or if something really really catches my eye.
I find it silly spending thousands on basic tees from high end brands. So most of my topwear are purchased either from retail brands or markets like Sarojini Nagar and even some Facebook stores and online shopping websites- which I have become addicted to recently.
Below are the pictures from last weekend where I decided to team up my classy ZARA skirt with a printed top which I had purchased from a Facebook store - the tag reads ASOS. Most of these stores get Export Surplus items and thus we get high end brands at very low prices. You should surely check out these FB stores to buy really affordable but trendy clothes.
Enjoy the pictures :D
