TrulyMadly - The Love App Review

Wednesday 27 August 2014

Hey lovely readers!
Hope you all are having a great week. Last weekend, I attended the launch of HRC Mingle, a ladies night at Hard Rock Cafe, Saket, Delhi; followed by watching a movie - The Grand Budapest Hotel on Saturday and shopping a bit.

And I am back today with this review for a new matchmaking/dating app in town. Well, I know you must be wondering why I am writing a review for a matchmaking app. The reason very simply is - because just like every other Indian girl in her mid 20s, even I am being asked my parents and relatives to settle down. And being a single lady in a metro city, it gets really difficult to find the perfect one with the little time you have in your busy lifestyle. While my parents are doing their bit by searching from the zillion of profiles shown at other traditional matrimonial websites, they simply do not work for me.

So when I came across this website which recently was also in news because of their amazing Breaking Stereotypes campaign, I decided to try it by myself.

And, now as they have come up with a mobile app, with the Android version already out and the iOS version being launched in October'14, finding love would now be at your fingertips.

Just like, how a friend will not introduce random strangers to anyone, TrulyMadly – the love app also ensures that it does not spam any user profile and only suggest verified and relevant matches for a user, basis his/ her preferences.
Here are some amazing features of the App which make it different -
  • You can Sign Up with your Facebook account and still keep your activity private as the App doesn't post on your FB account.
  • Trust Score - While many other matrimonial/dating Apps are also full of fake profiles, TrulyMadly allows you to check a profile with the Trust Score which is determined by robust verification methods like Facebook account, Linkedin account, ID proof, etc. to gain a higher trust score.

  •  Unlike other dating Apps where you are always flooded by messages the moment you sign in, TrulyMadly only allows the user that you have mutually liked to message or chat with you.
  • You won't be confused scrolling through a million profiles as the App very smartly shows only relevant matches to you based on your profile. Cool, isn't it?
  • Your photos remain safe and private, are only shown to profiles recommended by them and can not be downloaded by other users.
  • You can take multiple Personality match quizzes which would let the App choose for you profiles that would compliment the most to you.
TrulyMadly - the love app is currently available for free on Google Play Store, on smartphones that support the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and can be downloaded from the below link:

Now, coming back to knowing if I have still found the one for me through this App - I would let you know the answer whenever the right time comes.
Till then, do try out TrulyMadly and let me know your views about the same in Comments below.

    1. First things first - Never meet a stranger alone, even if you have had chatted with him for long. Meet him at a public place, preferably with a friend.
Also, to check if someone is genuine - you should first look for his/her social media profiles, especially Linkedin. Check if they have genuine pictures available and match it to their Truly madly profile. Take your time to know them well, their workplace, college etc.

I mostly came across professionals on Truly Madly, who have disclosed their workplaces- such people wont really try to harm or misuse your information, as they know you can reach to their workplace/colleagues.

      Hope this helped :)

    1. Hey!
I actually don't see an option to disconnect your FB account with Truly Madly profile. But you can go to your FB profile- Settings and remove the rights to share content with TM or mail their Support Team for more help.
