Hi lovely readers!
I am back with another Outfit Post as part of few outfits I have styled as per few requests I received from my curvy readers.
And the new outfit in the series covers the latest trend - Leggings - which have become a rage all over.
When I first saw these trendy pair of leggings at a ZARA outlet a few months I instantly liked them but didn't try them thinking I was too curvy for them.
My best friend who is skinny bought the pair and rocked it as well. And soon girls all around were flaunting this pair with cute crop tops, tucked-in shirts and halter necks. Many fakes also came up but well the ZARA leggings have a style and fit which is unique and classy.
And the last time I entered the store, I just couldn't resist buying the pair and decided I had to have this pair in my wardrobe. Once I bought the pair, my major concern was how to style this pair of leggings - being heavier at the torso, I can't wear it with a crop top like my skinny friends or wear it with a tucked-in top.
So, the pair kept lying in my wardrobe for a month or so, and then I bought this perfect asymmetrical neon top from Madame which I believed was a perfect match to the leggings.
Not only the top helps me cover my heavier side but also has a catchy design which instantly gives me a toned-down look. Do you agree?
I styled the outfit with my favorite aztec heels from Steve Madden and a handy Milanoo sling bag which can be carried in two different ways.

Rising Stars of Comedy - Comedy Show to Watch Out For India
Monday, 1 September 2014
Hola chicas!
After getting an amazing response for my last post about Rising Stars of Comedy, I thought of writing about another absolutely hilarious episode I watched of the show online.
This particular episode of the NDTV Prime's comedy show features Sanjay Rajoura, an angry Jaat who calls himself a social satirist.
In this video, Sanjay takes a pick on the neo liberal capitalist modern Indian in a sarcastic and witty manner at a comedy event organized by New Delhi Comedy Club.
I could totally relate to this video for the way he describes the way various cultural functions are celebrated at corporate offices, girls gang at these offices (reminds me of my days in my previous company) and the funny take on the wedding scene in Indian families (see right from 04:40).
It is really surprising to see that comedian Sanjay has such a great stage presence and is able to enthrall the audience single-handedly.

Hey everyone!
Hope you all are doing well. This season we hardly saw any rains in this part of India (Delhi-NCR) which makes me wonder if there would be no monsoon at all in the coming years.
Anyway, I hope it rains a bit before the onset of Autumn which is not far away. And talking about Fall made me realize that it's time that I started re-arranging my wardrobe for the new season.
While going through my wardrobe I noticed that there are few items which I should invest in and shop for Autumn-Winter. And that's why I went to few of my favorite online shopping websites to see what they had in store for AW'2014.
In this post I have covered my wishlist for the Fall, have a look -
If you have followed my outfit posts, you must be knowing that I am a big fan of printed pants and they definitely rule my wardrobe. But one of my favorite printed pants which have a monochrome style have faded away and therefore I need a new pair. The above pair of printed pair is a perfect pick to style for a semi-formal occasion or to a casual day out with friends.

Hi lovely readers!
It's Friday again and also the beginning of a fun weekend. I don't have any plans for this weekend yet and most probably would be reviewing few products for the blog.
Last week Mumbai played host to the most popular Fashion event of the country - Lakme Fashion Week winter festive season. And what runs parallel to any fashion show is lingerie which helps give a smooth and neat look to any outfit.
The 15th year and the 23rd season of LFW saw amanté, the official lingerie partner, add a spark of sensuality to the whole event. From the fitting sessions to the finale evening, amanté gave a feel of opulence to models, designers, celebrities and guests alike.
This year amanté added a spark and more colors to the prestigious event with their unique and interesting The Sensuous Pink Couch activity.

Hey lovely readers!
Hope you all are having a great week. Last weekend, I attended the launch of HRC Mingle, a ladies night at Hard Rock Cafe, Saket, Delhi; followed by watching a movie - The Grand Budapest Hotel on Saturday and shopping a bit.
And I am back today with this review for a new matchmaking/dating app in town. Well, I know you must be wondering why I am writing a review for a matchmaking app. The reason very simply is - because just like every other Indian girl in her mid 20s, even I am being asked my parents and relatives to settle down. And being a single lady in a metro city, it gets really difficult to find the perfect one with the little time you have in your busy lifestyle. While my parents are doing their bit by searching from the zillion of profiles shown at other traditional matrimonial websites, they simply do not work for me.
So when I came across this website which recently was also in news because of their amazing Breaking Stereotypes campaign, I decided to try it by myself.
And, now as they have come up with a mobile app, with the Android version already out and the iOS version being launched in October'14, finding love would now be at your fingertips.

Hey lovely readers!
Here's a new outfit post to delight all my curvy readers who have sent me queries requesting more styling options for curvy body type.
I have always been a fan of peplum style and while I own many tops and few dresses with a peplum style, I lacked a peplum skirt until I saw this beautiful skirt at a Forever 21 store in Delhi. In a classic style, this jacquard skirt features polka dots all over and a flattering peplum style.
Last month I had visited Bangalore to attend a trade show organized by Madura Garments for its brands - Van Heusen, Louis Philippe and Allen Solly. The trade show was a unique showcase of their SS15 collection for the prospective buyers from all over India and I was also invited over to go through the collection and share our feedback. Later in the day, all the bloggers and media persons met over a cozy dinner at the poolside of Marriot hotel. I had a great time at the event, catching up with some amazing bloggers from all over India and making new connections.
As it was a semi-formal dinner with the brand representatives of Madura Garments, I believed the Forever 21 skirt was a perfect choice. I paired the skirt with a sleeveless striped crop top from Forever 21 which has a perfect length and fit. I completed the look with a black statement neckpiece from Forever 21, Tresmode wedges and a Fossil watch.
To add some color to the monochrome outfit, I paired it with a bright tangerine clutch purse from Cupcakes and Closet.
Have a look at the pictures -

Celebrate Being You with Bed Head - This Is Me Campaign - Selfie To Bacelona
Saturday, 23 August 2014
Hey lovely readers!
I am back with a new post talking about a very interesting campaign and a topic which we all relate to very closely.
Body Image and Being Yourself is what everyone seems to be talking about everywhere. Whether you see any magazine, social media page or community, people have been trying to spread a positive body image among the masses and I completely support the motion.
Because individuality and self-confidence is what defines each one of us and makes us unique. And no matter what others have an opinion about us, if we start loving ourselves and able to say to the world 'This Is Who I Am', our body shape, color and other such physical parameters can never be a constraint in being true to ourselves and doing what we like the most.
And one brand which has not only supported this motion strongly but also made it a basis of their latest campaign is Bed Head's "This Is Me".
As you all must be aware of, Bed Head is a hair care and styling products brand distributed by TIGI, and is known for its rule breaking attitude and cheekiness along with their fun and creative hair products already have a strong online social presence globally and have begun their efforts in engaging its Indian audience by reaching out to them.
And their latest campaign The Bedhead – ‘This is Me’ stays true to the brand values and focuses on individuality by encouraging people to acknowledge their true self.
