Here's the first outfit post of December featuring a beautiful skirt and off-shoulder top from Faballey.com . And if you are wondering what's up with the post title, well it's the famous song by Meghan Trainor that I am tuned to a lot these days. Also, this outfit is a part of the Curvy Style Guide which makes the song that promotes positive body image, a perfect title to the OOTD.
If you haven't heard about this cool online fashion brand yet, then you need to know that FabAlley is the ultimate Indian fashion destination for fashion-forward, indie-chic girls.
I have been a fan of maxi skirts a lot these days, especially the ones with a sheer pattern that have a flirty yet chic appeal, so when I checked out the amazing collection of skirts at Faballey, I was tempted to have it in my closet. This off-white lace maxi skirt is crafted in crochet and has a peekaboo effect with its short inner skirt. I paired the skirt with a Faballey bright blue top featuring polka dots and an off-shoulder neck, to add a dash of color and style to the look.
To complete the look, I carried my Baggit mini cross-body bag which was also featured in the Bollywood movie Bang-Bang. This cute little bag comes in a suede like fabric and has a stylish chain with 2 different pockets spacious enough to store your casual day-out essentials.

It's the last day of April and I have an exciting Outfit post to share before this month ends. So, you all must have realized my love for maxi skirts now as I am flaunting many maxi skirts in my latest posts. After all, not only they slim you down but are also one of the most versatile outfits to style this summer.
While shopping at MAX a couple of weeks back, I spotted this lovely printed skirt in a pastel green shade and I was completely in awe with it. A soothing print and dual slits give this skirt a sexy yet sweet touch. I instantly know this is going to be one of my favorite pieces this summer. I picked a lovely off-white top with cut-out work and embellishments on the sleeves from MAX to team up with this skirt.
I paired my outfit with a pair of white strappy sandals from ZARA, an envelope clutch from Accessorize and a floral headband. To highlight the outfit, I wore a statement neckpiece from Juvalia & You which has these green beads that perfectly matched the skirt.

Continuing my series of outfit posts this month, I am back with two more outfits styled while I reviewed the spring - summer collection by VERO MODA at their DLF Place, Saket store. VERO MODA is one of my favorite brands when it comes to choosing dresses, bright tops and smart blazers.
And while going through the collection, I couldn't resist myself from trying these two floral items in maxi styles which I have fallen for this season :

Can't believe it's June already, almost mid year. This year is passing really soon, isn't it? How I remember being in a bad phase back in February to having lotsa fun at the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week'2014.
And while I was going back the memory lane looking at the pictures of my outfits clicked in the last few months, I came across this one outfit which I had completely forgotten to post about on the blog. So, today I am sharing an outfit dating back to the WIFW'14.
I have been a fan of asymmetrical dresses and tops a lot but have hardly featured them on the blog, except one of these maxi dresses. So, when I came across this pastel asymmetric skirt at one of my favorite online shops - Precious Melove - I purchased it instantly, thinking about the various ways I could style this skirt.
So, while I decided to dress up for one of the days at WIFW, I decided to pair this skirt with a contrast blue top having a bird print, I bought from GK M block market. I accessorized the outfit with a collar neckpiece, and wore a pair of tan wedges from Pavers England and carried my favorite Baggit bag.

A couple of weeks back I was invited over for an interesting Stylists and Bloggers Meet by Latin Quarters, held at their exclusive store at DLF Promenade Mall, Delhi.
It was an enthralling event of unbridled fashion where the team of Latin Quarters took us through their latest High Summer'14 collection which featured attractive summer dresses, skirts and topwear.
We also styled our favorite looks from the brand's latest collection and participated in a fun Twitter contest.

The holiday season is upon us finally, and 2017 is coming to an end. Well, I can't believe how quickly this year has passed yet how slow this month has been. This year has been rather a difficult one for me - as I saw a lot of ups and downs - personally and professionally.
But, the best part of living through the last month of each year is to look back at how things fared for you - where you got wrong, and what you can do to make the new year the best one ever. And that's why I can't just wait for this year to end, so that I can gear up for new beginnings, bigger goals and better things to happen.
Well, I wanted to pour down these thoughts, but coming back to this post - it was shot sometime in November - in the fashion hub of Delhi, Shahpur Jat. I have had this white shimmer skirt in my wardrobe since sometime, but never got a chance to wear it.
Most of us tend to keep shimmers and metallics for evenings or events, but I decided to wear it finally for a daytime look. I paired this Zara skirt with a lacy top and bralette from Forever 21 to compliment the silhouette of the skirt.
A white statement bag from GUESS and wedges from Charles & Keith finished this dressy look, while I accessorized it with a pair of sleek earrings, a beige Fossil watch and a floral Accessorize bracelet.
Wearing metallics in the day can be tricky, but if done right, it can make you stand out of the crowd in a good way. Make sure you balance your shimmer or sequin garment with neutrals and solids.
If you want to go metallic from head-to-toe, pick a delicately sequined maxi dress and pair it with a pair of booties. If sequined outfit sounds too much to try in day, go for a more comfortable look by pairing your monochrome outfit with a pair of sequined ballet flats or a shimmer scarf that can add instant oomph to your look.

Last weekend I visited Pacific Mall, Delhi to check out the amazing collection at BEBE India's store. I was surprised to see some beautiful dresses, bright colors, attractive prints and statement pieces at the store.
When you enter the store you are welcomed to a neat and well organized layout with all the outfits and accessories strategically displayed according to colors and styles, so that you can look out for what you need easily.

So as the summers take their full shape & form, I have prepared a list of Summer Wardrobe Must-Haves !!
Summers are a time when you can play around with your wardrobe a lot. One can layer up during rainy days and go sleeveless & in short dresses when its sunny outside !!
Following are the trends and clothing items which I feel are in this season and must have in the summer wardrobe-
1. Pastels -

I hope you all are doing well.. Its raining here in Delhi and even though the weather is playing cleverly with us by raining one day and being sunny the other.. Still I am loving the summers and enjoying it over here a lott !!
So as the summers take their full shape & form, I have prepared a list of Summer Wardrobe Must-Haves !!
Summers are a time when you can play around with your wardrobe a lot. One can layer up during rainy days and go sleeveless & in short dresses when its sunny outside !!
Following are the trends and clothing items which I feel are in this season and must have in the summer wardrobe-
1. Pastels -
Pastels are a huge trend this season with all the major brand and fashion designers designers showing looks for spring and summer in these pale hues. The upside for the spring/summer 2012 pastel trend is that it's both pretty and appropriate for the season. The downside for petites is that light colors tend to visually add bulk, and just a few extra pounds on a short woman can be more noticeable than it would be on a taller lady.
For those who want to wear pastels, but don't look their best in pastel clothing, it would be easy to add a touch of light color with pastel fashion accessories, such as a pastel handbag or jewelry in pastel hues.
2. Florals -
Florals are my favorite trend this spring-summer, and you all might have noticed in my previous post that I have bought many tops and even floral flats to wear this season. You all can also go for floral skirts, dresses and tops which look good on almost every body type.
3. Not so short Shorts-
They are perfect to wear during the hot sunny days. Once you find a style that flatters your figure you can plug shorts into several outfits all summer long. Shorts in dark colors are more versatile and flatter your figure. Skinny legs look best in short loose pairs, Bermuda shorts flatter figures with more hips, and ladies who are bigger on top want to look for shorts that hit above the knee.
4. Skirts-
The best part about skirts is that you can get a skirt in different lengths suiting your body type and comfort factor. I personally love Knee-length and slightly shorter than knee length skirts. Skirts in floral prints,m peplum skirts, asymmetrical skirts, pastel shades and whites would be a perfect option to wear this summer.
They can be teamed up with spaghetti tops, sleeveless tees etc.
5. Scarves-
Scarves are a wardrobe essential as they can not only be used to protect yourself from the scorching heat but also can be styled in different ways to glam up any outfit.
I have purchased scarves in leopard print, hearts and bows print which are available at throw away prices at flea markets too.
6. Summer Shoes -
I feel the most comfortable wearing slippers in summers as they are light weight and are easy to clean even if they get dirty. One can purchase Floral flats ( like the ones in my previous post ) or various slippers and wedges in vibrant colors and designs.
7. Dresses-
Dresses are a versatile clothing item which can be worn throughout the year. This summer these trends are a must have- Floral dresses, dresses with ruffles, Peter Pan collars and Asymmetrical hems. Even maxi dresses are a hit this season with many celebrities seen adorning them.
8. Tote bags-

A tote bag is must to keep all the summer essentials one needs while on the go. One can choose from vibrant colors and designs and mix & match them with various outfits.
9. Light Jacket / Shrug-
I always prefer to wear a light thin jacket or shrug over sleeveless tops or dresses while going out, as I feel more comfortable covering myself while travelling in public transport. Also, it protects the skin from sunrays and you always have an option to remove them once we reach our destination. : )
10. Sexy Sunglasses-
And this is the last and I guess most common item which everyone might possess. Big glares not only make face look sexy but also proper UV sunglasses protects from the harmful sun rays.
