Hey lovelies!
It's been almost 7 years of blogging, but I have never done a What's In My Bag ever. So, recently when I did a poll on Instagram about what would everyone like to read next on the blog, they wanted to know about my everyday essentials, so I decided to do one.
While I am not working full time these days, the essential items that I keep in my bag haven't changed much. If you have noticed my previous outfit posts, you would have seen that I prefer to carry bigger bags or tote bags as I always keep a lot of things with me, especially if I know I am going to stay out for long hours.
So, I emptied my bag (which I carried to an event recently) and here's everything that is really and truly in my bag :
Sunglasses : Now, you might be wondering why I keep two pairs of sunglasses in my bag. Well, the printed sunnies are from Lefties - again a gift from my husband, and I keep them handy in my bag all the time. While the rose gold sunnies are from GUESS and were a gift from my brother, I had kept them in bag for the event and I wear them only occasionally.
Makeup Pouch : This glitter makeup pouch was actually a part of a holiday collection set that I bought from Lancome two years back and comes in handy to store my makeup properly.
Lipsticks : Being a lipstick addict, I always have two or more lipsticks in my bag. Especially on days when I have to go for a party or an event after work; as a different lipstick can instantly change your look even if you don't change your outfit.
MAC Mehr - This shade from MAC is so far the most versatile color I have seen. It not only goes well with any outfit I wear, but is also perfect for day and night.
MAC Night to Remember - I always have a red lipstick in my bag, and this one is a stunning red with a luminous finish and lasts for 5-6 hours easily.
NYX Soft Matte lip cream - This time in my bag I had the lip cream in Prague which is a bright pink that works well on Indian skin tones.
Compact Foundation : Revlon Photoready compact is something that comes in handy when you don't have a foundation or want a light, flawless base for your everyday makeup. Also, it can be used with a wet sponge for a higher coverage.
Makeup Palette : I usually carry this or a different makeup kit with me if I am having a long day out or have to attend an event directly after work or a meeting. This palette from NYX has literally everything you might need for a quick makeup - eye shadows, contouring shades and brow powders.
Mini Brush : This Elizabeth Arden blush brush was a part of a Set of 2 and comes in really handy to apply makeup on the go.
Body Mist : You can never go wrong with the ZARA Orange Blossom & Sandalwood which has a mild yet amazing fragrance and has a travel-friendly packaging.
Perfume : Again, I don't carry this perfume everyday but when I am going out for blog shoots or events. GUESS 1981 is one of my latest picks and has a soothing woody musky base with floral and fruity notes that are perfect for a dressy day.
So, yes, this is an extensive list of products in my bag and often my friends say that I always have something or other in my bag that they need when we are out together. But well, one's always got to be prepared, right?

So, I emptied my bag (which I carried to an event recently) and here's everything that is really and truly in my bag :
My Go-To Bag : Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 - I picked this bag last year as my first luxury purchase and it has been my BFF ever since. I mean what's not to love about this bag? It's super spacious, easy to carry and goes well with everything in my wardrobe.
Wallet : Trussardi Jeans - So, my husband picked this elegant wallet from Portugal recently and it easily fits into most of my small bags as well. It comes with a handy money pouch that can be carried separately as well; and has multiple slots to keep my cards handy.
Business Cards and Holder : So, I received this business card holder as a gift few years back and I designed my business card myself. I carry them every time in my bag, as when you are blogging full-time, you may end up meeting prospective brands who would want to work with you anywhere.
House Keys and Pen Drive : So, the bow shaped key chain from H&M doubles up as a key holder and bag charm and I think it's really cute. The heel-shaped pen drive was actually a gift from Steve Madden a few years ago and can also double up as a bag charm.
Sunglasses : Now, you might be wondering why I keep two pairs of sunglasses in my bag. Well, the printed sunnies are from Lefties - again a gift from my husband, and I keep them handy in my bag all the time. NYX Soft Matte lip cream - This time in my bag I had the lip cream in Prague which is a bright pink that works well on Indian skin tones.
Lip Balm : Now I don't suffer from chapped lips, but I still like to keep a lip balm as when a matte lipstick starts wearing out, a coat of lip balm can help you go for couple of more hours
Eye Liner : Not one of my favorite eye liners, but I guess I had this Nykaa eye liner in my bag that day as I couldn't find my regular MAC eye pencil. Nothing bad about this liner, but I just find its applicator uncomfortable to use.
Kajal : I picked the VLCC Enchanting eyes Kajal recently after being off-kajal for weeks due to an infection a previous Kajal I used caused. This not only suits my eyes without causing any dryness, but also is super black and lasts for hours long.
Mascara : So, apart from lipsticks I am a mascara fan and I have a lot of mascaras. This time I had in my bag an Oriflame super volume mascara and a MAC 3D Black lash mascara (travel size).

Mini Perfume : Part of a Victoria's Secret Tease set I bought from Singapore, this mini perfume fits perfectly in any small bag as well and has an enticing floral fragrance with a blend of black vanilla, frozen pear and blooming gardenia.

MAC Prep + Prime : It actually works like a balm or a base for a lipstick by instantly adding moisture and smoothing the lips.
MAC Blot Film : I also keep a pack of blotting papers in my bag as I have a combination skin, and this thin film helps remove traces of oil or shine without smudging the makeup.

OOTD : Getting Ready for NYE | Last Minute New Year Eve Party Outfit Ideas
Friday, 30 December 2016
Hey lovelies!
It's the last Friday of 2016 and I am sure pretty much everyone right now is thinking about their NYE plans. But mostly - what to wear this NYE - is something that's on every fashionista's mind!
While I don't have any plans for New year eve so far, I do have a couple of outfits sorted, just in case I have those last minute plans to say goodbye to 2016 in style.
One of those outfits is this minimalist yet pretty tulle dress from ZARA which is perfect for a dinner date or an evening out with friends. It's one of the best dresses I purchased this year - thanks to its beautiful off-shoulder neckline and net details - I just need to accessorize a little and put on my favorite heels to get into the party mood.
Have a look at how I styled this beauty recently :
If you are also still in a fix about what to wear for the New Year eve party, here are three quick styles you can try :
What are you planning to wear this NYE? Hope you all have a joyous, prosperous and a wonderful new year!
Happy New Year 2017!

If you are also still in a fix about what to wear for the New Year eve party, here are three quick styles you can try :
- The Little Black Dress : An LBD can never go wrong! Not even for a NYE party. Style your favorite little black dress with a pair of stilettos and accessorize it with a statement clutch and dangler earrings for a classic look. Don't forget to apply your Ruby Woo lipstick for the glam effect.
- Sequins : The best way to get into the holiday spirit and welcome the new year is by dressing in your sparkly best. Style your sequined top or a sequined skirt with solids and keep the accessories bare minimal for a chic look. If you own a sequined dress, try layering it with a jacket or blazer for an unexpected look.
- Layer it Up : Don't have any dressy pieces in your wardrobe? Fret not! Take out your basic leggings and a tank top, and style it with a trendy jacket for a look that's totally glam. Style it with boots or stilettos and go for a smokey eye to dance away the night with your pals.

Hey everyone!
I am back with another Outfit post featuring one of my favorite trends this season. I have always looked out to add timeless dresses to my wardrobe, and the shirt-dress is my all-time favorite.
And a flowy, printed shirt dress is all you need this summer to get many looks out of one basic staple.
That's why when I received this lovely dress from Faballey in mail, I instantly fell in love with its breezy style and figure-flattering silhouette. I loved how it's casual yet very dressy to be worn for a romantic evening or a day out with your BFFs.
I styled this polka dots dress with a sleek belt to define the waist. To complete the look and add a pop of color to my outfit, I wore my new strappy heels from Steve Madden that are totally chic and glamorous.
I accessorized the look with a Forever 21 necklace and a graphic clutch from Kazo. Have a look at the complete outfit :
Shirt dresses are available at many brands like Faballey, Koovs, ZARA, KAZO, Vero Moda and more in various styles and designs. Pick a style that would flatter your size the most.
You can go for a knee length buttoned shirt dress and pair it with loafers for a minimal chic style. If you like a casual, sporty style; pick a dress and pair it with sneakers for a look that is a must-try this summer.
Get a bohemian look by pairing your shirt dress with a belt, a trendy boho bag over your shoulders, and finish the look with a pair of suede ankle booties!

Hey lovely people!
I am back with the first Outfit post of October. I know I have been very slow with the Outfit posts, and I still have to share few posts from my Dubai Diaries, but I plan to schedule them in the coming week so that I can start sharing the new outfits I have styled recently as well.
Coming to today's outfit post, it features one of the style that I have liked seeing on celebrities but didn't dare to wear it yet. But as one of my readers requested over mail for some style tips on Skirt Suit, I decided to do this shoot in a hurry.
I am wearing a beautiful Rose Girl Co-ordinates set from StalkBuyLove, featuring a sleeveless single-button jacket and a short pencil skirt. I styled it up with a white Crop top from Forever 21 and added a dash of color with my Steve Madden T-strap heels.
For a formal touch, I styled along a white satchel bag from StalkBuyLove which is trendy yet quite spacious for everyday use. I accessorized the look with a sleek watch and an Eiffel Tower pendant - both from Forever 21.
Have a look at the pictures :
Do you like Suiting up too? Let me know your views on this outfit in the Comments below.

The elegant Skirt Suit looks good on all body types, and you can pick an all-black number a ruffled skirt for an extra polished look.
For a casual occasion, you can pick a Co-ords set, just like mine and accessorize it with trendy accessories to make a unique style statement. You can also mix up suit separates to instantly freshen up your wardrobe and to style your outfit pieces in multiple ways.
Do remember to pick a suit that fits you very well - both the skirt and the jacket - to look chic and well put-together.

OOTD - Black All The Way | How to Style Co-Ords Set | Curvy Style Guide
Tuesday, 21 July 2015
Hey everyone!
Hope you all are doing great and enjoying the monsoon season. I am back with another Outfit post featuring a trendy Co-ords set by Stalk Buy Love.
Co-ords are all the rage this season as not only they look very chic but are also very versatile, helping you get 3 outfits from one. Also, you don't have to worry about what to match them with, and just have to pick the right accessories and shoes to get ready.
Whether you are picking a style in solid colors, or one in vibrant prints, accessorizing is the key to rock your Co-Ordinates in a unique way.
As you know about my love for midi skirts this season, I couldn't help picking this beautiful midi skirt- crop top set in black color from Stalk Buy Love which also features a sheer pattern at the hemline.
To add color to my outfit, I accessorized it with a coral Forever 21 necklace and wore the sequinned Steve Madden heels. The monochrome fringe bag from Stalk Buy Love adds more style to the outfit and makes it party appropriate, don't you think?
Look at these lovely pictures clicked by our new team member Anirudh Gandhi :
You can take the Co-Ords style from Day to Night by just changing your accessories and picking sandals for the day, and killer heels for the night.
You can also try experimenting with your look by playing mix-and-match with your Co-ordinates and existing wardrobe pieces.
What's your take on Co-ordinates? Do you think this trend is here to stay?
I really like this matchy matchy style which helps make choosing an outfit easy and is the coolest combo of this season.

As I have received amazing response to my last 2 posts covering my favorite Clothing and Beauty brands at Select CITYWALK, Delhi - I have decided to do a couple of more posts covering more brands that I love shopping at my favorite Shopping Destination in Delhi.
Select CITYWALK boasts of so many popular and great brands, that they can't be covered in just 1 post. So, in today's post I will be writing about my favorite Footwear brands that are present in this Shoppers' Haven.
- STEVE MADDEN - Knowing my love for STEVE MADDEN shoes, I really can't begin this list without mentioning this iconic brand. Steve Madden is an international brand that is known for its designs that are innovative, fun, sometimes wild and always spot-on-chic.
Ever since it was first launched in India, I have been in love with their amazing designs and high quality. So much so, that now I own 9 pairs of Maddens alone which I have also featured in many of my OOTDs.
- ALDO : Although, I own only 2 pairs from Aldo, it still remains one of the most popular shoe brands at Select CITYWALK. Located at the Ground Floor, just opposite Sephora, ALDO offers high-quality fashion footwear, leather goods and accessories.
This highly sought-after brand pays close attention to detail and to fine craftsmanship. You will find casual shoes to killer heels for special occasions here and has an amazing collection for Men too.
- CHARLES & KEITH : This is another brand which I love after Steve Madden, for their high quality and comfortable heels.
Dedicated to the young and trendy, Charles & Keith designs, produces and distributes distinctive lines of trendy designs and fashion accessories that cater to market sentiments in fast velocity. Their range also includes stylish handbags and sunglasses which feature latest ramp trends.
- ROSSO BRUNELLO : The high-end footwear brand Rosso Brunello is brought to India by Da Milano, the hub of exquisite italian leather accessories.
Rosso Brunello brings on the table, a wide range of footwear and accessories, for ladies and men, that set them apart by being the most fashion forward yet the most comfortable buy.
- Dune LONDON : I have previously reviewed the Select CITYWALK store of Dune London on the blog and really liked their trendy collection of Shoes for Men & Women.
Dune London is the leading retailer of affordable luxury footwear and accessories. Founded in 1992 as a small concession in a ladies fashion store, and opening its first store on London’s Kings Road in 1993, Dune has since rapidly expanded to over 250 outlets across the world.

OOTD - Dressin' Up for the Valentines' | Trendy Divva
Tuesday, 3 February 2015
Hey lovelies!
Valentines' Day is around the corner and that's why I am back with an Outfit inspiration for this party season.
If you are bored of wearing Reds, Whites or Pinks every Valentines's Day, its time to style differently and get a bold yet romantic look in an LBD or black evening gown, just like how I styled this look with a glamorous velvet gown from Trendy Divva.
Trendy Divva is a stylish brand established in 1985, which offers luxurious and contemporary fashion garments in an affordable price range and attractive designs.
Their wide array of collection include cutting-edge fashion garments such as evening / cocktail wear, smart casuals, prom, designer wear, bridal wear, along with the add-ons like capes, shrugs, boleros, scarves, stoles, neck ties, sarongs, wraps to name a few.
For a Valentines' Day party look, I picked a gorgeous gown in black velvet and featuring sequin pattern at the waist, sleeves and back. It has a beautiful train which gives it a sophisticated look that is perfect for a romantic dinner or a masquerade theme party.
I styled this gown with my embellished strappy heels from Steve Madden and glitter clutch from Lavie. Have a look at the pictures which I got clicked at the Sheraton, New Delhi who helped provide a perfect backdrop for this beautiful gown :

Hi lovely readers!
I am back with another Outfit Post as part of few outfits I have styled as per few requests I received from my curvy readers.
And the new outfit in the series covers the latest trend - Leggings - which have become a rage all over.
When I first saw these trendy pair of leggings at a ZARA outlet a few months I instantly liked them but didn't try them thinking I was too curvy for them.
My best friend who is skinny bought the pair and rocked it as well. And soon girls all around were flaunting this pair with cute crop tops, tucked-in shirts and halter necks. Many fakes also came up but well the ZARA leggings have a style and fit which is unique and classy.
And the last time I entered the store, I just couldn't resist buying the pair and decided I had to have this pair in my wardrobe. Once I bought the pair, my major concern was how to style this pair of leggings - being heavier at the torso, I can't wear it with a crop top like my skinny friends or wear it with a tucked-in top.
So, the pair kept lying in my wardrobe for a month or so, and then I bought this perfect asymmetrical neon top from Madame which I believed was a perfect match to the leggings.
Not only the top helps me cover my heavier side but also has a catchy design which instantly gives me a toned-down look. Do you agree?
I styled the outfit with my favorite aztec heels from Steve Madden and a handy Milanoo sling bag which can be carried in two different ways.

Hola chicas!
And here I am back with the first Outfit post of this month. The last month was so packed that I hardly got time to shoot my favorite outfits and post them on the blog. Even today's outfit dates back to last month when I visited Goa for the Zest event which I have covered before here.
On the first day of our stay in Goa, we had to attend a Masterclass for which I decided to go casual yet trendy and because the weather of Goa is really cool, I thought my bodycon striped skirt from Forever 21 was perfect for the occasion.
I paired this chic skirt with a cropped tie-up top in a bright coral colour which I bought from Forever 21 as well. I was most excited to wear my new strappy Steve Maddens for the first time. These classic T-strap sandals - MAAGIE - are the latest addition in my shoe wardrobe, and I now own 6 Steve Madden beauties which I really adore.
To complete the look, I carried a color-block clutch from Romwe.com and wore a lovely neckpiece which actually belongs to my blogger friend Bhumika who happily let me wear it for the class as I wasn't carrying a matching accessory.
Here are the pictures of the outfit Bhumika clicked at the pool of the Zuri White Sand Resorts where we stayed for the weekend -
And here I am back with the first Outfit post of this month.

Hola chicas!
Today I am writing this post for all my readers who were missing my Shopping Haul posts. Lately, I have been focusing majorly on reviews and Outfit posts because frankly I shop often and hardly get any time to click pictures separately for my hauls. But those who follow me on Instagram would be going through my shopping diaries, as I post instant pictures of my shopping sprees there.
And this post is for those who are not there on Instagram and wish to know what I have purchased lately and where from.
I have been looking for a rose gold chronograph watch since a long time and my search ended with this elegant watch by FOSSIL which I purchased from Flipkart.com .
Well this wasn't exactly a haul but freebies I received from a Kiehls event I attended lately for the launch of their new Micro-Blur skin perfector. I got a full size Midnight Recover Concentrate which I will review separately later.

Hello dear readers!
Hope you all are doing well and are prepared for the Holi (Indian festival of colors) bash. Like always, I won't be playing Holi this time as well as I am not a big spoil-your-skin-and-hair - Holi fan. The last time I played Holi with much enthusiasm was 2 years back, during the last semester of MBA with my college friends (that too because my friends had forced me to).
But this year, I would rather order a pizza and a dessert and spend my day watching some rom-coms on TV.
So talking about today's outfit, I personally think this outfit represents spring in its true sense - colorful, relaxed and refreshing.
I met my best friends last weekend at Select City Walk and I was really in a cheerful mood that day - which explains why I chose bright colors to wear.
I wore a bright blue tube top with a chevron print shrug (some call it a Shacket) I picked from GK M-Block market, Delhi a while back. I paired them with a light pink pair of jacquard pants from MAX to tone down the whole look. This time I wore a statement neckpiece from Promod and carried a bright green I picked long back from Bangkok. Also, making a debut on the blog ( Ok yeaa I am exaggerating this a little :P), are my floral heels from STEVE MADDEN - which screamed of Spring the very first time I saw them at the store. I added my Rayban aviators to complete the look.

OOTD - Its all about Asymmetry this Summer | High-low Maxi Dress !
Saturday, 11 May 2013
Hey lovely readers!
Enjoying the summer time? I don't think many of my North Indian friends would be.. Excluding the heat and sweaty part of summers, what I like most about them is that you can wear your favorite outfits with ease.
So when I went for a sleep over at my friend's place, I thought it was a perfect time to wear this breezy high-low dress I purchased from Sarojini Nagar market (DELHI) last month, while we went out shopping.
The high-low trend has been IN since last season. Though I have worn asymmetrical shirts/tops a lot, this was the first asymmetrical hem dress which I felt the most comfortable and confident in.
The chirpy bird print of this dress invited for some colorful accessories like the candy color necklace I picked from a FB store and a bright orange belt.
The color-block heels by Steve Madden are also one of the most comfortable heels I own, thanks to its block heel which helps me to balance my feet even with the heel height.

Hey lovely readers!
I am back after a long timeee with a Review post.. And this time its a review of a leading brand's website which now offers Online Shopping in India..as you must have read in the title .. its Steve Madden !!
When I first read at their Facebook page that they were launching their Indian website, I was more than thrilled - coz I am in love with online shopping.
More than the convenience of shopping from the comfort of my home, the amazing deals and discounts lure me to shop online often.
When I went through the collection, I saw the same pair of heels which I had seen at one of their stores, way back in January. That time I was confused between a pair of Block Heels and these pumps and had went for the Block Heels, but later when I went back to purchase the pumps - they were Out of Stock.. :X
But these pumps were now available online, and I had to have them in my closet.. so here they are.. Read on to know about my experience with the website :
About the Brand ( Though needs no introduction ) :
Steve Madden is easily America's most successful shoe designer. Considered the fashion footwear mogul of the 21st century, Madden has been responsible for the design and marketing of the company's trendsetting shoes for over two decades. His vision to give young, fashion forward men and women a unique way to express their individuality through style resulted in millions of customers worldwide.
My Experience with the portal :
- Their website means serious business - no Ads or cluttered layout to confuse or bore you - its neat and user-friendly!

Hey everyone!
Hope you are all doing well. Weather is finally changing here in Delhi so now I can wear my favorite clothes without adding bulky jackets or layering up - that's a relief :)
Talking about the weather change, this Sale season I thought rather than buying clothes for the shorter Winter season I would purchase clothes which I can wear the whole Spring - Summer.
I have shopped, shopped and shopped a lot! Many readers messaged me that they have been missing my Shopping Haul posts and therefore I thought I should share the stuff I purchased this whole month from various brands.
So, without blabbering any more, here you go-
Animal Print Sunglasses - ONLY |
Necklace - Accessorize And ohhh my 1st MAC lipstick - Impassioned |

This month so far has been very hectic, scandalous ( ohh just don't ask me about those), irritating and I don't know but definitely not good.
Also thrice it happened that when I was totally ready for the Outfit shoot with my friend, either my camera stopped working, the battery went dead OR it started raining while I was about to get the pictures clicked :( :(
So I really needed some time for myself to feel good, and that's why I decided to pamper myself with a nice shopping spree.
I won't blabber much and would leave upto the pictures to share my excitement and joy :D :P
Ohh to start with, My first pair of Steve Madden heels
