Hey lovelies!
I was guided to the spacious Spa room by the therapist who gave me some time to change into the disposable lingerie and bathrobe provided in the wardrobe inside the spa room. The spacious spa room also has a shower room and includes basic amenities like shower cap, body lotion, hair dryer etc.
The therapy started with a foot cleansing in rose water and then a Body polish. The pleasant music playing in the background perfectly set up my mood for a relaxing session.
The therapist used one of the soothing and richly nourishing products from the Aromatherapy Associates London range to exfoliate my skin. After a 30 minutes of exfoliation, the therapist gave me some time to take a shower to wash off the excess polish. The body polish made my skin very radiant and smooth after the first part of my spa.
The second part of the ritual included the Hot Stone Massage for which the therapist used a therapeutic oil from the Aromatherapy London range with a relaxing massage to reduce stiffness and soreness from my body. While massaging my back, the therapist particularly mentioned about the stiffness in my upper back, which I think is what all of us working women suffer who have long sitting jobs.
Smooth, warmed stones were used for the massage to relax the muscles and calm the senses and I actually felt asleep for a while during my spa, which made me realize how effective the hot stones were- in soothing my mind and body.
To my relief, the temperature of the stones was warm enough to work effectively in reducing muscle stiffness, without causing any burning sensation.
At the end of the ritual, the therapist used a soft towel to wipe off the extra oil and moisturized my skin with a body butter.
I have never had experienced Hot Stone Massage before, but truly this was the best and one of the most luxurious spa experiences I have ever had. Especially, because while other massage therapies usually just pamper your senses, the Hot Stone therapy really helped reduce stiffness from my body and relieve the back pain that I often experience.

I am really excited to tell you all that I am going on a mini-vacation, but to know where, you will have to wait for my social media posts. I was just busy packing when I realized I had a couple of posts to complete, especially a Spa experience which I had had few days back.
I have been to Quan Spa at JW Marriott Aerocity New Delhi for their launch and had availed a Foot massage there which was really relaxing. But the location being quite far from my place, I could never visit it again for a proper spa.
So last weekend, after a tiring week, when I got an opportunity to experience their special Monsoon treatments, I was really excited.. After all, who doesn't love a pampering spa after a long, dull week?
So on a pleasant Sunday afternoon I visited Quan Spa at JW Marriott for a rejuvenating spa ritual. The spa attendant gave me a complete tour of the property and told me about the rituals available for the Monsoon season that were exclusively designed to pamper the body and mind in this gloomy weather.
The special Monsoon therapies offered by Quan Spa include :
- Exotic Monsoon: Body Polish followed by Hot stone Massage - 90 Minutes
- Chakra Healing: Indian Ayurveda Massage followed by healing with Herbal poultices - 60 Minutes
- Ultimate Aromatherapy – A combination of Swedish & neuromuscular techniques – 60 mins
- 30 mins Bespoke Skin Polish and 60 mins Massage .
While I wanted to go ahead with the Aromatherapy ritual, the Spa attendant recommended that I should go for a Hot Stone Massage which will relieve me from all the muscular tension and stress from my long working hours.
So, finally I decided to take his suggestion and opted for a Bespoke Skin polish and Hot Stone Massage.
As I waited for my therapist to prepare the spa room, a herbal tea was presented in their waiting lounge, which served as a pleasant start for an uber luxurious experience to follow.

Wishing you all a very Happy Republic Day. Hope our country sees a lot of success and joy in the coming years :)
I was home this weekend and gearing up to go back to Delhi tomorrow. A short vacation like this every few months really helps me relax and have a good time as I enjoy all the delicacies cooked by my Mom. And you know what else makes me relax and rejuvenate? A great spa session!
Last week I had a similar refreshing experience at SAWADHEE Traditional Thai Spa in Vasant Kunj, Delhi. The first thing that makes SAWADHEE unique and different from all other spas in town is that it offers traditional Thai spa rituals that are offered nowhere else and have an authentic feel.
One look at their website and the rituals offered, and you can know that they offer a wide range of treatments that would fit your requirements. But make sure you call them and check about the treatment you would like to avail beforehand, as a couple of treatments which I wanted to go for (like the Thai Herbal wrap) initially weren't available at this time.
Anyway, I decided to visit Sawadhee Spa and choose a therapy upon consultation with the manager there. The spa is a little difficult to locate if you are new to that area, but if you follow the Google Maps - you would easily find the location.
Now, the spa is spread across more than 5000 sq. ft of luxurious space with subtle tones and textures that gracefully embrace one and the warmth of the décor really helps set the mood for an amazing journey ahead. They have 7 private spa suites and 2 couple spa suites with Jacuzzi that are beautifully done.
Upon consultation with the Spa manager, I decided to go for a Deep Tissue Massage, Body Scrub and Honey & Milk bath for a relaxing session to let go the work stress.

Had a happy weekend? I had a lot of fun this weekend as I caught up with the lovely bloggers Lisha (from HeartBowsMakeup) and Anshita (from Vanity No Apologies) as we had fun having spas at The Ashok on Friday and gossiping and eating at Cafe Coffee Bean at Select City walk, Delhi on Saturday.
Later, I went to Geetanjali Salon for a hair spa but ended up having a hair Makeover which I would be revealing shortly in a new post.
Coming back to today's post, I will be sharing with you my experience of a luxurious hair spa treatment with Moroccanoil hair products at the Taj Salon, Delhi.
Moroccanoil has become a haircare industry sensation embraced by celebrities, runway stylists and women the world over. Their formulas not only leave hair naturally smooth and shiny but also improve its actual condition to make it stronger with each use.
Personally, this was my third Moroccanoil hair spa treatment and each time I have felt my hair texture has improved from before and felt more smooth and manageable.
And, experiencing my favorite hair spa treatment at Taj Salon was not only luxurious but also much more personalized as compared to other salons I have visited.

It's almost mid-week and I am badly awaiting this weekend as I plan to rejuvenate with a facial treatment and some shopping.
And when it comes to rejuvenation and relaxation, one brand which I have discovered and loved lately is Alaya Spa & Salon located at DLF Place, Saket, Delhi.
I was introduced to this amazing spa by a fellow blogger and friend Awungshi who has reviewed this spa on her blog earlier. So, I went to visit this spa and salon a few months back for a Hair Spa and haircut which were really good. But that time I totally missed on writing about my spa experience, so last weekend when I got a chance to visit the spa again for a Hair Spa and Haircut, I made sure I carried my camera along to click few pictures to show you all.

After informing them that I would like to go through the Supercharge Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment, I was directed towards the salon on the Ground Floor where instantly one of the Hair Spa Specialists was appointed to do my hair spa.

Hope you all are doing well and geared up for this weekend. While I don't have any specific plans for this weekend, but I do plan on doing few outfit shoots with a friend because it's been a while since I posted an outfit on the blog.
In today's post I will be sharing my spa experience with one of the popular spa parlous in Delhi - The Four Fountains Spa, located at South Ex-2 market.
I was invited over by the spa management to visit and experience one of their therapies a couple of weeks back. As I was anyway planning to go for a body spa with a friend, I decided to try The Four Fountains Spa this time and was completely looking forward to this experience.
Located in the busy market of South Ex 2, the spa is easy to locate due to its central location and various signboards placed near the spa. We were welcomed by smiling staff and were taken through the various therapies offered by the spa.

This is the first post of May and hope this month treats us all really well :)
Today's post is featuring the amazing Ritu Beri swimwear collection launched at the Quan Spa launch event back in March, at JW Marriott, Aerocity, Delhi.
I know I have got quite late in covering this event, but I was really busy with my work and visiting home that I didn't get a chance to edit the pictures until today.
Anyway, it's better late than never - this was a poolside event organized at the JW Marriott hotel where Ritu Beri also launched her amazing swimwear collection in the form of a fun fashion show and the designes covered the various moods and prints of the season.
Quan Spa offers various services at their spacious, beautifully done interiors that would make one come back again. I also indulged in a foot spa there and it was surely one of the best foot spas I have ever had in spas across Delhi.

Enjoying the foggy weather? Well, I certainly am not! I am feeling unwell, so took an off from work and just relaxing at my home!
I sooo wish we could get a winter vacation at work too :(
Coming back to this post, I was invited over by Lakme Absolute Salon, South Ex , Delhi with few other Fashion & Beauty bloggers to have an experience of their services. As the invite was for Friday and I had to be at work, I hadn't expected I will be able to make it to there in time!

This state-of-the-art salon offers services for hair, beauty, nail enhancement and skincare. As soon as you enter the salon, you'll be amazed by the lovely interiors. At one side is their exclusive foot and nail spa room while on the other side is the VIP room. Their VIP room is one service which I haven't seen at any salon before.
This exclusive room is exclusively reserved for ladies who want to get ready for special occasions with friends, and has a separate entry and exit.

Hey everyone !
Hope you all are doing great. My best friend is visiting me today and its her birthday tomorrow! So after a long time, we would be having a lotsaaa funnn, as we plan to go out shopping, watching movies and eatingg yummy delicacies ;) : )
I think I forgot to mention earlier, but I have been very ill since last week with the fever not leaving me at all. Due to which, I couldn't go out of my home or plan any outfit posts.
But I am better now, and hopefully would be back with more & better outfit posts now!
Coming back to this post, my blogger friend Apurva from KALAPALETTE had invited me for her BLOGOVERSARY last weekend at 1010 Nail Spa, Meherchand Market, Delhi.
I was more than happy to go. We were pampered with soothing Manicure, Padicure and the best part of the evening- delicious CupCakes there ! :D
As I wasn't very well, I decided to wear a Cream Topshop Dress with a Georgette Blazer. As my regular readers might have noticed, I LOVEEE wearing dresses.
And that's because of many reasons :
- First of all, they are a no-fuss dressing. There's no need to decide upon which lower to match with which upper.
- Secondly, they are easier to accessorize. If the dress is Printed one, throw in a simple Neon necklace or statement earrings. If the dress is plain, throw in a statement neckpiece or various arm candies and sexy sandals! And I am good to go.
- Third and the most important part- they go well for my body type - A-line knee length dresses make me look slimmer and tall.
So this explains why more than 70% of my outfit posts feature Dresses :D
