OOTD : Mixing Textures - Go Edgy this Holiday Season | Curvy Style Guide
Tuesday, 13 December 2016
Hey lovelies!
The holiday/party season is upon us finally! And I am sure, you all would be sorting out looks for Christmas and New Year Eve already.
Well if you haven't found your perfect outfit yet, I have got some amazing tips and outfit inspiration on how to get an edgy and unique look this season by mixing different textures.
While this look dates back to the Fashion Week and kept lying in my blog drafts, I believed now is the right time to share the pictures plus more deets on how to get a similar look.
Silk tops are the must-haves this winter as luxe wardrobe additions and a perfect style will definitely elevate your style this season. The best part is that silk can be dressed up or down in many ways, depending upon the mood or occasion.
And when it came to dressing up for a stylish evening with the best fashionistas in town, I decided to style my embellished silk shirt from Sue Mue with a lace pencil skirt and a gold belt for a balanced yet trendy appeal.
If you are also a fan of silk, and want to opt for a dressy yet different look this holiday season - you can also style a silk shirt or top in many ways to achieve the right look.
For a casual day-out with your BFFs, pair a classy silk shirt with your favorite jeans or leggings and add a pair of sky-high pumps to add some casual-edge to your style. If you've got a silk blouse in a gorgeous jewel tone or with intricate work or embellishments like mine, pair it with a pencil skirt or layer over a shift dress for an unmatched style.
Don't forget to accessorize your look with complimenting jewellery and a statement bag for a model off-duty style.

Featuring Yoshita - Designer in Her Own Fusion Wear
Monday, 28 April 2014
Hey everyone!
In one of my last posts I had covered an exhibit featuring Yoshita Couture, and I followed it up by attending Yoshita's Delhi exhibit which I also covered through my Instagram account.
And while we always see models and celebrities dressed up in designer apparel, it is really rare when a designer models her own clothes. And when Yoshita told me her idea of doing a shoot styled in her own clothes, I was really excited to see the beautiful pictures.
And here I bring the amazing pictures of Yoshita dressed up in an exquisite crystal-studded lehenga which she has paired with a stylish zebra striped blazer and black top. Though what makes this amazing outfit stand out is the exclusive pair of shoes which are also designed by Yoshita herself -
