Hey everyone!
I am back with an Outfit Post which dates back to a couple of weeks when I attended a friend's wedding in Panipat. I am a pure Punjabi who loves north-Indian weddings with all of the glitz, glamour and ofcourse the yummy food. Ever since I came to Delhi-NCR three years back to do my MBA and later on a job, I have missed quite many weddings. So finally when I got the wedding invite, I was more than happy to finally go shopping for Ethnic Wear.
With voluminous Anarkali suits being the trend of the season, I decided to buy one and I found a beautiful suit at Meena Bazaar ( EDM Mall, East Delhi ). The suit features turquoise blue self design material at the bust and a net material flowing till the ankles. The best part is the deep back with golden tie-up and the crochet lace at the hemline.
Up next was the selection of accessories - as the suit had an embroidered dupatta and full sleeves in net, I decided to pair it up only with matching danglers and my search ended at Juvalia & You with these Seashore earrings studded with Aqua and blue stones. Juvalia & You offers amazing international styles in fashion jewellery and also offers Indian women a career alternative.
I finished the look with a pair of nude pumps from Forever 21 and a Lavie shimmer clutch.
Have a look at the pictures below :
(Please spare me for the picture quality as they were clicked last moment and I wasn't carrying my camera. I will try to update the post with better pictures later.)

Review - BIBA Ethnic Wear | Autumn - Winter'13 Collection !
Tuesday, 24 September 2013
Hey everyone!!!
While writing this post I realized that I have featured ethnic wear in only one or maybe two posts, ever since I started blogging. But that doesn't make me love Indian traditional wear any less. Infact, many people compliment and tell me that I look much pretty in Indianwear as compared to western apparel.
Well, I agree to that as our ethnic wear has that elegant and sophisticated appeal, which can make anyone look pretty and classy.
And when it comes to ethnic wear brands in India, one of the most popular and renowned brands is BIBA, which offers a stylish, reasonable and trendy range of traditional wear designed for today's women - who are career-oriented, style conscious and yet respect their traditions and culture. I visited their store last Saturday to check out their latest collection.
The collection boasted of everything from traditional Anarkalis, embroidered motifs, fusion kurtas to kurtas with matching palazzo pants, churidar sets, and much more, in endless range of colors and designs.
Have a look at my favorites from the collection :
