Hey everyone!
Hope you checked out my last post on French Connection SS'13 collection review. Last weekend I also visited Calvin Klein Jeans' DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj, Delhi store to check out their latest collection. Though not a big fan of their apparel, I do admire their accessories range, especially the handbags.
Their Spring-Summer'13 collection also comprised of some trendy apparel for men and women, though the collection for women was quite limited.
One could still find some runway trends like asymmetricals, neons and monochromes in the apparel collection for women.
While the men's collection boasted of some cool casuals and classy shirts which can be dressed up as a part of Friday dressing or Club wear.

Hey everyone!
I visited French Connection last weekend at their DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj, Delhi store to check out their Spring-Summer ' 2013 Accessories collection which comprised of some basic totes and few statement pieces.
The collection comprised of a limited no. of accessories like bags in bright colors, neon belts, quirky scarves and beachy hats.
The range is on a little expensive side with the bags starting from Rs 1999 and above.

Hey lovely readers!
Here comes that time of the year when you can finally take out your colourful, light summer clothing- ohh how I love wearing the bright and vibrant printed clothes in this season. And finally goodbye to layering :)
But also its the time when Wills Lifestyle comes up with their Autumn-Winter Fashion Week which is being organized at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from March 13-17.
The much-awaited fashion fiesta will take off in March with designers showcasing their magnificent creations. The five-day fashion event will see innovative themes and out-of-the-box conceptualizations through 32 shows which will wow the runway, hoping to leave guests in awe of the splendid shows.
Announcing the list of designers, Mr. Atul Chand, Divisional Chief Executive, ITC’s Lifestyle Retailing Business and Mr. Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI said, “Designers have the power to influence global fashion with their unique designs. These myriad style gurus are ready to showcase their creations both on the runway and exhibition area. The interesting mix of innovation, creativity and tradition will usher in the best at the WIFW Autumn-Winter showing, this season. I wish them the very best for the upcoming show."

Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter'13 is Here !

Hey everyone!
Hope you all are doing great. The chilly weather in Delhi has all of a sudden slowed down, with the weather being quite warm since last couple of days! That's actually a relief, as earlier it was reallyyy reallyyy cold - that I didn't even feel like going out, dressing up or getting some outfit shoots.
Anyways, its SALE time and all of the major brands are offering amazing discounts. I have already scored a pair of Steve Maddens and my eyes are now on ZARA. ( would share the collective haul soon)
Also, its time that you can cleverly pick few items from the Sales which will be IN the next season ie. Spring/Summer.
Here are my favorite trends for Spring-Summer 2013 -

1. Stripes
Stripes have been features at every major runway show and designers are just loving stripes in every form. Thick or skinny, horizontal or vertical, it's a trend to watch!

2. Graphic Prints
Look bold and quirky with various graphic illustrations on t-shirts, dresses and even trousers. They'll make you stand out in the crowd as well. I also have got myself a pair of face print pants which I have worn HERE.

3. Sheen & Sequins
These were in trend last season as well and don't seem to go out of fashion anytime soon. The poker barbie and fashion icon Lacey Jones also swears by the glam and shine of sequins.

4. Tribal
Aztec prints, feathers, fringe and many other tribal prints and detailing are in rage this season with even Indian designers like Surily Goel, Pia Pauro and Ranna Gill. Even I have got my hands on an aztec print dress and shirt which I'll be sharing in an Outfit post soon.

5. Fluorescents
This trend is here to replace Neons. Punch pinks, loud lemons or hot orange - fluorescent clothing when paired with structural separates will help make you a chic fashion statement.

6. White
Whites are the best and the most soothing colour option for summers. You can always tone down bold prints and bright colours by adding any accessory , shoe or clothing item in white to your outfit.

Apart from these, Florals and candy colours would remain my favorite trends this Spring-Summer.'
