Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week AW14 - Best of Day 4 (Part 2)

Thursday 26 June 2014

Hey everyone!
Here's the Part two of the last post featuring the best designs at the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week, Autumn-Winter'14, Day 4, held at Pragati Maidan, Delhi.
Pero by Aneeth Arora
Aneeth Arora's Autumn/Winter '14 collection -- titled 'Meet me by the lamppost' - for her label Pero injects a sense of warmth into a bleak late night rendezvous. Cosy overcoats and knits, oversized hoods on snuggle-worthy zip up hoodies, and layer upon layer of cheery checks and stripes are clearly her route to a happy winter.
Virtues
Rabani & Rekha
Rabani & Rekha tried to skillfully blend tradition and experimentation for our fall-winter 2014 collection. Where elegance flourishes in floor length gowns & kurtas with nipped in waist, empire line dresses gushing with chiffon in ink blue, ox blood & deep peacock hues highlighted with copper & gold zardosi & tonal sequin work
Rinku Sobti
Rinku Sobti’s AW’14 collection is all about deep colors, pretty patterns around necklines created in macrame. The Term Macrame is derived from a 13th Century Arabic weaving term .It means the art of tying knots into string.
Saaj by Ankita
Saaj by Ankita was a glitzy collection which was named Arabella and was all about metallic and sequins detailing. Ankita's gold and white sequin work dazzled at the ramp of WIFW. Sparkling metallic sequin work on skirts, tops in silver and golden looked gorgeous on the ramp.
Samant Chauhan
RAJPUTANA TRAVELLER "some travels take you so far hat even when you return you are gone forever......probably its then they call it journey".
The collection RAJPUTANA TRAVEL speaks volumes for a very contemporary Indian market that yearns for a change from the usual brighter tones.

Soltee
Bright, colourful and joyous! Soltee by designer Sulakshana Monga drives its inspiration from 'Dark Gives Balance' this time it's about balance
Tanvi Kedia
The collection pays homage to the glamour and elegance of the free spirit of a woman who is party gypsy and part new age style icon. The look is hippie-deluxe where everything flows in breezy gypsy-fashion, but one where the luxury and abundance of the travelers' memory is reflected in the richness of the garment.
Zubair Kirmani
Escape to the natural intimacy of your own private haven. My vision with AW 14/15 collection, I launch myself as a Kashmiri paving his heart into Kashmir incorporating the architectural khatamband elements with the age old technique of tilla.
