Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week AW14 - Best of Day 4 (Part 1)

Tuesday 10 June 2014

Hey lovely readers!
Sorry for all the delay in posting my favorites from the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week - Autumn Winter'14.
Here are the pictures showcasing designers who presented their collections on the Day 4 of the Fashion Week.
Siddartha Tytler
Designer Siddartha Tytler's creations were none like other as the fabrics he has used for each of his masterpieces were fabulous and had a rich combination of sheer, lace, satin, lace and a lot of threaded embroidery.
431-88
431-88 by Shweta Kapur had short high low hem skirts, dresses and zipper pants. From leather to metallic to fur, golden zipper tops and jackets ruled the ramp of WIFW AW 2014.
Chhaya Mehrotra
Using silk, crepe, wool and chiffon and other amazing fabrics, and featuring colour-blocked sarees to shift dresses, Chhaya Mehrotra showcased a very classy and easy to wear collection with black and white ruling the ramp.
Hemant & Nandita
Hemant and Nandita showcased a fresh and young collection inspired by the sporty street wear. The collection signifies a distinct style which consisted of sweatshirts, fitted skirts, cropped jackets and pants with leather hints.
Josh Goraya
Josh Goraya's collection contemplated a dark and engaging identity featuring prints mixed with the modern, contemporary and abstract motifs. The collection mostly had silk shirts with chiffon embroidery, silk bomber jackets, quilted jackets, overlap bikers jackets and leather jackets infused with embroidery.
Mandira Wirk
Mandira Wirk presented her collection called Ombre which means' shadow' in French and was a perfect showcase of femininity, romanticism and sensuality. The natural tones versus the vivid tones which were seen on each of her designs lit the eyes of the audience.
Pankaj and Nidhi
In the finale show of Day 4, Pankaj and Nidhi presented a trendy collection, inspired by the deck of cards which were used beautifully on the outfits. Spades, diamonds, hearts and clubs descended into a realm of fashion in the eyes of Pankaj & Nidhi at ramp with the designs highlighted with crafted prints and exquisite embroidery.

  2. I had a chance to see Pankaj And Nidhi's garments up close and they were so brilliant! And well Hemant Nandita were so obviously inspired by the street... And yes the pieces were really wearable and will sell I reckon.. But because they were from the street didn't you feel like you've seen it all already ? Just my 2 cents :)
