The Four Fountains Spa Delhi Experiential | Detoxification Spa

Saturday 14 June 2014

Hi lovely readers!
Hope you all are doing well and geared up for this weekend. While I don't have any specific plans for this weekend, but I do plan on doing few outfit shoots with a friend because it's been a while since I posted an outfit on the blog.
In today's post I will be sharing my spa experience with one of the popular spa parlous in Delhi - The Four Fountains Spa, located at South Ex-2 market.

I was invited over by the spa management to visit and experience one of their therapies a couple of weeks back. As I was anyway planning to go for a body spa with a friend, I decided to try The Four Fountains Spa this time and was completely looking forward to this experience.
Located in the busy market of South Ex 2, the spa is easy to locate due to its central location and various signboards placed near the spa. We were welcomed by smiling staff and were taken through the various therapies offered by the spa.

Now, the interesting part of their services is that they let you choose your preferred spa service based on your specific needs or health concern. Basically you can first choose a service from 4 different concerns - De-stressing, Beauty, De-toxification and Immunity. Further, from these 4 concerns you can choose from a range of different therapies like body massage, body polish, facial etc.
Spa Room
I decided to go for the Natural Protein Body Wrap - de-toxification spa, while my friend went for Aromatherapy massage to reduce stress. Both the therapies were for 1 hour, and the staff introduced us to our respective therapists who were really sweet and helpful. We were also introduced to a doctor who took our stress test based on few questions to analyze our stress levels.

Then I went over to my calm and peaceful spa room which was also called PEACE, and was delighted to see the amazing interiors. They give you disposable undergarments to change in the private shower room of the spa room. My Protein Wrap spa therapy started with a Spirulina Body polish which was really relaxing and rejuvenating. The therapist kept asking in between if the pressure was fine and if I was feeling any pain, which I felt was really thoughtful as sometimes the therapists don't realize that the pressure might be more to handle. Post the body polish I was asked to take a shower and change again in a new set of disposable undergarments for the next part of my therapy.
Shower Room
This was followed by application of a protein mask which is said to contain soya protein that helps absorb toxins from the body. After its application, I was wrapped in a sheet for 10-15minutes that helped promote sweating and remove toxins from the body. Meanwhile, the therapist also give me a quick head massage which was again very blissful. Post the therapy and shower, I was given a body lotion to apply all over the body that helped moisturize my skin after this long but refreshing therapy.

Post the session, the therapist offered us a herbal/green tea and the Doctor gave us our Stress Test report and suggestions for the next therapy/spa session.
Overall, I would rate the spa in different parameters as following -
  • Ambiance - 4 out of 5
  • Service - 4 out of 5
  • Staff - 4.5 out of 5
  • Hygiene and Cleanliness - 5 out of 5
  • Experience - 4.5 out of 5
I think the spa is really affordable yet impressive as compared to many other spas in Delhi which charge a lot more and don't provide a similar experience.

With their courteous and skillful staff, peaceful and calming ambiance, and wide range of spa therapies on offer, The Four Fountains serves as the perfect place to be, to relax after a stressful week.
You can visit The Four Fountains website to know more about the services offered and various locations.
