OOTD | Review - French Connection AW'13 !

Thursday 21 November 2013

Hey everyone!
Enjoying the winters? I have also finally arranged my closet and packed away all my favorite, breezy summer tops in a suitcase and have kept them in a corner. While looking at my winter wardrobe, I realized how I lack versatile tops which I can layer up in this weather. So the next time I am going shopping, I am sure to buy some nice full-sleeved tops and plan to share some Layering-up looks soon.

I visited the French Connection store in DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj, Delhi last week to check out their latest collection and really liked some pieces from their winter wear. The options were limited but I spotted some nice printed outfits. Sharing in this post two of my favorite looks from their collection -

This paisley print dress features a warm print perfect for winters and a button down collar with a skirt style bottom. I paired the dress with a fold-over satchel from their collection and my MAX flats.

A leather skirt is for sure a wardrobe-staple. It is a versatile piece which can be paired with different tops and outerwear to take a look from day to night. I paired this skirt with a warm grey pullover and my ZARA heels.
You can also purchase the collection online from the French Connection E-store. The winter wear range starts from around Rs 1999 and features many beautiful prints and basic designs.
Did you like the above outfits? Share your views in the Comments below.

  2. hey nikita!
just a new person at your blog.
it amazing that you are very much focusing on the trends for the season, hence creating awareness among the masses about the same. However, i as an individual, feel it looks more brand oriented and therefore i feel less connected!
Couldn't there be any other alternative?
But yes, you are doing a great job as far as understanding trends and displaying them is concerned.

    1. Hey Anika!
Thanks for stopping by! I truly respect your feedback. If you go through my previous posts, I have tried to make this blog a mix of my personal take on trends, outfit posts ( where in I try mixing up brands with thrifted clothing ) and reviews.

I try to keep my blog based on my personal opinion as much as possible. Do let me know what other kind of posts you'll like to read, and I will surely introduce new segments on the blog.

      Thanks :)
