Hey lovely readers!
My favorite month November is here and thankfully this time my birthday fell on a weekend (1st Nov) and I had a great time attending Sunburn Festival in Noida with my friends.
I am back with the first Outfit Post of November which dates back to last month when I attended Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in Delhi. On Day 4 of the fashion week, I decided to wear a beautiful skirt which has been hidden in my closet since an year and I never really got the confidence to wear it.
This beige Tutu skirt is a very feminine piece with layers of net ending just over the knees. I had fallen in love with this skirt when I saw it online and purchased it right away, but I never really found it suitable for any occasion.
But this time as I decided to attend the Fashion Week, I made my mind to wear this skirt atleast on one day. Because of its subtle color, it would have worked well with any contrasting bright color so I picked this floral halter-neck top from NEXT. To complete the outfit, I accessorized it with a quilted handbag from Romwe.com, Forever21 neckpiece and a Daniel Wellington striped watch.
As I had to be running around at the venue in between shows, I wore my BATA flats which are really comfortable.
Here are the pictures of my outfit -

Hola chicas!
Hope you all are enjoying the change in the weather and the lovely feel of Fall finally setting in. Even I think it's time to re-arrange my wardrobe and make space for my autumn-winter clothing.
Last week I got my hands on my first Daniel Wellington watch - a Classic Bristol Lady - and I thought it was perfect to style for my first autumn outfit post with its laidback design.
As the weather has slowly turned cool, I decided to wear my new printed pencil skirt from Precious Melove with a bright pink top from US Polo. I accessorized the look with a blue statement neckpiece from Accessorize, a classy clutch bag from Accessorize and a pair of beige block heels from Forever 21.
And to give an elegant vibe to the look, I paired my DW which has a minimalistic dial and a perfectly dark brown band that added a touch of luxury to the otherwise fun and chic outfit.

Hey lovely readers!
Can't believe it's June already, almost mid year. This year is passing really soon, isn't it? How I remember being in a bad phase back in February to having lotsa fun at the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week'2014.
And while I was going back the memory lane looking at the pictures of my outfits clicked in the last few months, I came across this one outfit which I had completely forgotten to post about on the blog. So, today I am sharing an outfit dating back to the WIFW'14.
I have been a fan of asymmetrical dresses and tops a lot but have hardly featured them on the blog, except one of these maxi dresses. So, when I came across this pastel asymmetric skirt at one of my favorite online shops - Precious Melove - I purchased it instantly, thinking about the various ways I could style this skirt.
So, while I decided to dress up for one of the days at WIFW, I decided to pair this skirt with a contrast blue top having a bird print, I bought from GK M block market. I accessorized the outfit with a collar neckpiece, and wore a pair of tan wedges from Pavers England and carried my favorite Baggit bag.

OOTD - Working out the Sequins - Sequin Skirt and Peplum Top !
Thursday, 28 February 2013
Hey everyone!
The Msdressy International Giveaway is now over and the winner would be announced this weekend.
Today's outfit post is from my college's Alumni Meet which was organized last weekend.
This sequin skirt was a love at first sight for me when I saw it at the Facebook store - Precious Melove.
I wanted to wear it for the alumni meet which was more of a semi-formal event- catching up with batchmates, professors and friends. So, I decided to dress down the skirt by pairing it with a subtle top.
This Forever 21 peplum style top made the skirt look sober yet very graceful and then I had my ZARA heels to add just the right amount of colour to the whole look.
If you love sequins but are confused how to wear a sequined item for a day event or a more formal event without going overboard, you can try the following tricks
- For a formal event wear a pair of sequined pants or skirt with a neutral top to balance out the shine. Finish the look with a great pair of shoes and statement clutch.
- For a party look, you can wear your sequined skirt or pants with a tank top or casual tee. Add a chunky necklace if you want to have a bold look.
- If sequined skirts or pants are just too bold for you, you can also go for sequined tops which are much easier to pair. Wear your sequined top with leather pants or jeans for a more chic look.
- If you are a fan of blazers, pair a sequin cardigan with jeans and a button-down shirt. This look works best for day and night both, just by adding the right pair of shoes.
- If too much sequins are just not your thing, simply add a pair of sequined heels, a shiny bag or a belt to add a dash of bling to your look!
I currently have two pairs of sequined trousers, a sequined top and a sequined skirt which you'll see more of in the upcoming posts.
Have a look at how I wore my sequin skirt for a formal event -

An evening with Numero Uno - Numero Uno Celebrates 25 Successful Years!
Tuesday, 4 December 2012
Hey everyone!
Had a great weekend? I had a real lazy one - where I just slept, watched TV and ate loadss of junk food :D - Ohkk this is a little exaggerated. But basically I just relaxed at my home! :)
Last Wednesday I was invited to attend Numero Uno, a premium jeans brand's 25th Anniversary at QBA, Connaught Place, Delhi.
To mark the special occasion, Numero Uno unveiled its Summer 2013 Collection with a glamorous fashion show in the presence of fashion elites, socialites and celebrities.
The guests included eminent personalities of the fashion industry like Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI, Nilofer Hussain, Socialite and Daughter of Beauty Expert Shahnaz Husain, Shoe Designer Swati Modo.
Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI, commented on the occasion saying, “Numero Uno is one of the best denim brands we have in the country. They bring innovative designs and cater to all segments of the society. With this fashion show, they have reestablished the fact that they are fashion leaders. It’s a job well done!”
To make the evening even more majestic, Sufi band Nasya added spice in the evening and livened up the atmosphere. The popular Sufi band caught the eyeballs of the public after its sensational performance on MTV Rock On and their heart stealing performance at this event rejuvenated the guests. The joyous melodies at the launch party completed and complemented the celebration.
The event concluded with delicious cocktails and scrumptious dinner to satiate the palates of all the foodies present - Ohh, and I must add that the food was Delicious :)
Here are a few pictures from the event -
