how to style palazzo pants
Hey lovelies!
I can't believe more than half an year has passed and we are in August already. I mean it just feels like yesterday when I was juggling between my 9 to 6 corporate job (that I quit back in February) and my blog. While managing two professions kept me on my toes always, there were some amazing perks as well, like getting ready to attend an event straight after work - which made me experiment a lot with my style that I made sure was apt from work to play.
And that's why when I picked these amazing palazzos recently from Cover Story, I knew they were perfect for a lot for work-to-play looks.
Do you have any other tips or tricks that have helped you nail the perfect work to play style? Share with us in Comments below!

Getting this look together made me miss my corporate life days, when often a lot of my colleagues used to ask me how come I look party ready in a jiffy after a boring Monday. I used to carry a spare top or accessories along to make my outfit apt for the next event or party I was headed to after work.
I styled my navy blue palazzos with a chic H&M top that features little hearts and frilly sleeves that are totally cute and trendy. I paired my outfit with these stunning embroidered heels I picked online from Myntra recently and completed the look with my versatile Speedy 30 handbag.

I think the highlight of this outfit is definitely my pair of statement earrings from H&M that make this outfit totally ready for a fun party after work.
Here are a few tips if you also want to nail the Perfect 9 to Late look every time you have those after-work plans that leave you no time to go home and change :
- Invest in key wardrobe separates like these comfy yet stylish palazzo points that are work-appropriate but can also be styled with a dressy top for an evening party.
- Accessorize! A statement accessory like my H&M earrings can take your outfit from formal to dressy in a jiffy.
- Layer up your dress to work with a cool cardigan and blazer, and simply remove it when it's time to go party.
- Another way to jazz up your outfit for the night out with your girlfriends after work is by just changing your formal shoes to a pair of strappy heels that will instantly glam your look.

OOTD - Rocking Them Palazzos - MAX Road to Paris | Curvy Style Guide
Monday, 1 June 2015
Hey lovely readers!
I am back with the 1st Outfit post of June, which also happens to be my entry for MAX Road to Paris contest in which we bloggers had to style clothes from their latest collection.
While I usually end up picking summery skirts and dresses from MAX Fashion, this time my eyes got stuck on a stylish pair of palazzo pants which is a style I don't own currently.
So, for my contest entry, I picked this pair of aztec print pants and a mint shirt which I styled for a street-smart look perfect for this summer. After all, summer is meant for breezy silhouettes and sleeveless shirts or tops to beat the heat in a stylish manner.
Also, palazzo pants has been a hot trend this season with many celebrities and models wearing them often for their casual avatars.
While many curvy girls shy away from wearing palazzo pants in the fear of the latter making them look heavy, printed pants can infact make you look toned town.
That's why I picked these trendy pants in a multi-colored print which is not too busy and has a vertical pattern that gives a slimming effect. To add a pop of color to my outfit, I paired them with a mint colored sleeveless shirt which I knotted down to give it a look of a cropped top that instantly gave the entire outfit a funky look.
I kept the accessories minimal by just wearing my new Armani sunglasses, Daniel Wellington watch and tan wedges from Forever 21 to add height to my look. Giving my outfit a finishing look was my Holii sling bag in a soothing white and yellow color that has become my recent favorite bag.
