Sarojini Nagar market
Hey lovely readers!
I am back with another outfit post which I think would be one of the last few from this winter season as the weather is slowly turning warmer (hopefully it stays like this). I hate days when it is really cold and chilly like it was the last few days when I was in my hometown.
Anyway, it is getting sunny here these days and I am really loving it. After all, we get to face winters only for 2-3 months here in India.
Today's post dates back to a chilly winter evening few weeks back when again I was out for a brunch with my bestie. I really don't like layering more than 2 pieces in winters, and that's why I decided to wear this oversized mint blazer from Sheinside.com which is really cozy and comfy. It also features a single button closure and double pockets, and is very warm.
I paired it with an animal print top I had purchased from Sarojini Nagar market a while back, and wine colored pants from Vero Moda. To glam up the otherwise simple outfit, I wore a pair of cut-out wedges from Forever 21 which I purchased recently. These wedges are really trendy and can instantly add a dash of quirky to any look.
A color-block structured bag from ZARA helped finish this winter look. Check out the pictures here -

Hola fab readers!
Are you all doing great? Well I am going through a rough patch right now and just wishing for things to turn in my favour. Hopefully, the next month will be promising enough for me.. :)
Coming back to today's outfit post, I am sharing my second look in a Maxi Dress which I picked from Sarojini Nagar market couple of months back. Lately, I have been looking for comfortable yet chic maxi dresses everywhere but haven't been successful yet. Maybe some brands will include cute maxi dresses in their Spring-Summer collection.
I wore this maxi dress for an outing with a friend and paired it with a faux leather jacket from Vero Moda. I completed the look with a comfy pair of flats and sling bag. I kept the look simple with a sleek white belt and statement neckpiece.

Hey everyone!
Hope you all had an amazing weekend. Mine was a little fun and a little tiring. I watched the latest Bollywood flick " Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani " starring one of my favorite stars - Ranbir Kapoor, yesterday. Though he looks absolutely cute and stylish in the movie, the movie in itself is a little bore. But well, only few meaningful and entertaining movies are made these days..sigh...
Coming back to the outfit pictures I am sharing today, the outfit dates back to few weeks when I attended the Hair and Makeup Workshop I attended at Pearl Academy.
This cute little skirt with birds print was lying in my wardrobe, dying to come out and be worn in this hot weather. I paired it up with a coral top I picked from Sarojini Nagar market long time back.
Though I hate wearing accessories in summer, to glam up the plain top, I wore a Candy colored neckpiece which I also last wore HERE.
Completing the outfit was my Mod'acc sling bag, nude wedges and few arm candies.

Hey everyone!
Hope you are all doing great. Last month I had to attend Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week and it was a tough time deciding about what to wear amongst the most fashionable people who'll be attending the event.
But as I had to go straight from my office to attend the event, I couldn't wear something too bold or loud.
Denim over Denim is one trend I have liked a lot in the recent times, but I feel very apprehensive while trying it on myself. So when I purchased this lovely Denim sleeveless jacket, I got a little confidence to try the trend.
I paired it with my ONLY jeans and Vero Moda top to make the look subtle yet chic. The cool glasses from Firmoo.com were a perfect addition to accessorize the look.
Firmoo.com offers an amazing range of eyewear at very affordable prices. They sent me these glasses to review last month which arrived in less than 10 days ( Though I got late with this post :D ).
I have always worn glasses / lenses since I was in 5th till last year, when I got a laser surgery done. But as I have to work long hours on computer, I decided to get a pair of reading glasses with zero Power to prevent my eyes from any further strain!
About Firmoo.com -
"Firmoo.com is the world's most popular online eyeglasses store. Years of expertise in optical industry enable Firmoo.com to offer varieties of prescription eyewear to the consuming public in high quality yet at extremely affordable prices. The low prices in Firmoo.com never compromise the quality of eyewear while treating the quality and services to consumers as top priority."

- The first thing I liked about the website was their amazing and easy to access layout. With all the products categorized into Men's, Women's, Designer, RX and Specialty eyewear categories.
- All the products are further categorized by Shape, Material, Size and Frame, which makes it easy to go through the style you are looking for.

Hey everyone!
I hope you all had a great weekend! I visited Crabtree & Evelyn's DLF Saket store yesterday with Apurva from Kalapalette and had a great time!
Would share my outfit and other pictures of the store in the next post!
Today's outfit is what I had worn last weekend when my best friend was visiting me. We went to Select Citywalk to celebrate her birthday and had lunch at Sphagetti Kitchen, though she completely disliked their Italian cuisine! Maybe next time I would take her to somewhere where they serve spicy Indian food :D
Coming back to the theme of the post, whenever I am around with friends, colleagues or fellow fashion bloggers, there's a common topic of debate between us - Thrifted or Branded- which fashion is acceptable?
Personally, I don't care if I am wearing thrifted or branded stuff until and unless they suit me and are trendy!
My wardrobe is a mix of clothes and accessories which I have purchased from many high-end brands like Vero Moda, Zara, Mango ; retail brands like Westside, Lifestyle and also many tops from markets like Sarojini Nagar and GK M Block. And to be frank- I like purchasing high end brands only for special occasions, formal wear or if something really really catches my eye.
I find it silly spending thousands on basic tees from high end brands. So most of my topwear are purchased either from retail brands or markets like Sarojini Nagar and even some Facebook stores and online shopping websites- which I have become addicted to recently.
Below are the pictures from last weekend where I decided to team up my classy ZARA skirt with a printed top which I had purchased from a Facebook store - the tag reads ASOS. Most of these stores get Export Surplus items and thus we get high end brands at very low prices. You should surely check out these FB stores to buy really affordable but trendy clothes.
Enjoy the pictures :D

- Florals - This trend can never go out of fashion, and SN proves it too with floral dresses, shirts, tops, skirts etc. available in the market every season, every time and almost at every shop. So if you love this cute trend too, make it sure that you check out the floral collection there.
- Latest Trends - Polkas, Peter Pan collars, leopard prints, lace, sequins or cut-out shoulders, I believe latest trends come to this market even before they reach the fashion labels at major malls in India. So if you want to own the latest runway trends at throw away prices, make sure to search for them at our very own SN.
- Day dresses - Going for a vacation, casual day out with friends or a lunch date, and unsure about what to wear? Well cute day dresses in cotton and chiffon are a must buy and you'll get them from SN in not more than 200-250 bucks. You can try out short, knee-length and maxi dresses in various patterns which are available at most of the shops.
- Shorts / Skirts - Though finding your waist size might be an issue, but if you know how to get your fit from flea markets, SN has huge options for you. From leopard prints to polka dots, the market has even skirts and shorts in elastic pattern for those who don't want to risk buying a smaller or bigger waist.
- Wardrobe basics - Shrugs, vests, camisoles, stockings - you name the color and they have it. I find it stupid to spend thousands on these wardrobe basics which I know I'll be using often and thus replacing them every season. So I find it better to buy them from SN in different colors to mix and match.
- Accessories / Sling Bags - This market has a huge range of accessories like jewelry, scarves, hair pins and awesome sling bags and clutches which are available at reasonable prices so that you can buy as many as you want to mix and match with your outfits.
And well a very IMPORTANT TIP- Carry not more than 1000 - 1500 INR ( around 30$) in your wallet, or else trust me you'll end up spending every penny !
Also keep an extra 200 INR in your secret pocket of the bag or jeans or give it to your companion before you start shopping, which you should take out ONLY and ONLY IF you are done shopping, and while leaving, you spot a Gorgeous item which you just can't miss and want it very badly. ( Trust me this always happens, the most gorgeous items I have spotted there are always when am done shopping with and have no other penny to spend :D )
I hope you all liked this post. I am very eager to know about your comments or further suggestions on this !! :)
